Fear and trembling. Not exactly two sensations we'll be picking up for the holidays, but two that we'll encounter when it ends. Exams will be the rule of the day when we resume our daily grind, which is why we're happy to report that Mr305 has just updated Academic Aid to version 3.0.

This homebrew app, in case you're wondering is a special learning tool geared for students in High school and college. Academic Aid is built specifically to help you in the fields of Algebra I, Algebra II ,Calculus, Trigonometry, Physics I, and Physics AP. As for the changes since version 2.3:
  • 3.XX FW Compatible i.e. Even PSP Slim users can use this; Copy the folder to GAME371 or GAME with 3.xx kernel.
  • Improved aesthetic design
  • Fixed flickering screens while switching from different subjects
  • Fixed bugs in Subject selection selection.
  • Improved speed of animations
  • Various other minor fixes and optimizations; removed unused resources [images, debug text, etc]
We advise users to view the readme included with the file bundle - it contains all the info you need on Academic Aid's contents, and how to install it to your PSP. You may also want to visit Mr305's release thread over at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forums to send in your feedback.

» Actually

It's a compilation of the more complicated formulas that you'll encounter in matehmatics.

Just punch in the numerica values, and the app does the rest. The readme should detail what it carries.
