3.80 M33 patch for PSP Content Manager v1.8 |
Ó
When custom firmware 3.52 M33, it was homebrew developer JumpR who released a patch to make the application PSP Content Manager v1.8 compatible with the said firmware. Now that CFW 3.80 is out, it's Red_Squirrel's turn to provide the patch.
Yup, the coder just dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released a patch so that those running the latest custom firmware on their Sony handhelds can also enjoy the PC-based application that was originally coded by UFox.
For those not familiar with PSP Content Manager, note that this tool allows users to preview and manage the content of the Sony PSP. The following changelog accompanied the original release of version 1.8:
- Build-in RSS Server to Host MP3 Files on PC for PSP RSS Channel
- Start the Build-in RSS server and add build-in channel from RSS Channel List; Or your can do that using PSP internet browser to open PC's IP address.
- RSS Channel List
- Support ms0:/ISO/VIDEO Folder for UMD ISO List
- Convert and Save 1.50 EBOOT to 1.00 EBOOT Format
- Fix CFW Setting Saving Bug
- System Tray Icon
- First of all you need PCM 1.80 by UFox.
- Then you have to download the patch.
- Now you have to extract RAR package on your PC: a file called 380M33.reg will appear in your directory.
- Now run the file (sx double click on it!) and Windows will ask you if you want to add some data to your System Registry.
- Give the OK and patch will be installed.

why make these stupid patches when you can right click in the application and change the name of your firmware and the GAMEXXX folder name, the program hasn't been updated because it doesn't need to be, these patches are a waste of time.
dadudeondacouch is quite right about it. I guess its a feature people missed reading for in the readme. It's been there for quite some time now. But I guess this solution is for the people who are lazy to read the readme and right-click in the application to choose their CFW. Or sth..
