Time for more homebrew. QJ reader psphackman tipped us off to a 3.30 OE-a recovery prx in EBOOT mode that Negi released on our PSP Development forums. According to Negi, he didn't write any code for this release. This is just the result of hex editing the 3.30 OE-A recovery prx into an EBOOT.This would be useful for those who don't want to turn off their PSPs completely to run recovery. Negi's also still looking for someone who can help him make the recovery prx run directly from the PSP flash so it works with all future versions of Dark_AleX's custom firmware. I'm still using the 3.03 recovery boot by DaX and have done for 3.10 and will probably use it for 3.40 or 4.10 or whatever comes out next
but what about the popsloader
What I did is I'm running 3.03 OE-B so I can still run my Cintro but I'm using a 3.03 OE-C Recovery Eboot App so I can still use the USB flash feature. Since I don't use the PSX Emu that much there's nothing new for me in the newer firmwares anyways, jsut the USB flash, but that's taken care of now.
i got a recovery mode 3.03 OE-C eboot... working also fine on mine 3.30 oe-a
can it also be used on a 3.11 version?
yes,it will work on ur 3.11 OE.
there is no 3.11 OE silly..
he prob means 3.10oe otherwise if its 3.11 NO it doesn't
Great idea, Use it to change from the 1.5 to 3.30 kernel when i want to use WiFile... Shame it wont run in the 3.30 kernel so it only really works one way !! Good job all the same !
you should make it, so it runs from the update icon in the vhs!

How about some more news about any exploits or something that might help make a downgrader for versions 3.10-3.30?
please please make a downgrader i bricked my hombrew psp and got a new one and it came firmware 3.11 i miss homebrew sooo much

I have made my eboot from the recovery prx since someone else builded it into a pbp file.
This can be done just with pspbrew, what's that hex editing crap?
And for the one asking to put the recovery menu int the update icon, you jsut have to replace the update_plugin.prx with the recovery.prx in your flash0...
u had money to buy 2 psps and cant buy a game?
I just upgraded from 3.03 oe c to 3.40 oe a and it worked.
I then started to customize my PSP back the way it was
before with custom waves, background and tops menu
and that thats when everything went wrong. I got nothing
but a black screen at start up. I went to recovery but
couldn't recover, i guess because I've never used recovery
before and didn't know what to do. I didn't have a
recovery folder in my games folder so I used toggle usb
and created a recovery folder in PSP/GAMES. I then began
franticly looking for a recovery eboot and placed this 3.30
oe a recovery eboot in. I then entered recovery menu and
tried to recover, screen flashed black and showed me the
recovery menu again. I then tried to restart but still,
nothing but a black screen. What should I do now?
does this work with 3.40 OE-A???
