3.0X OE Easy Version Changer v4: works with 3.03 OE-B |

Dabomstew's come out with a new version of the 3.0X OE Easy Version Changer, and it now supports 3.03 OE-B custom firmware.
For those who haven't heard of it, Dabomstew's Easy Version Changer lets you change what gets displayed on the System Software portion of your System Information page. While it doesn't actually have any functions other than this, combining it with other apps lets you customize your PSP in different ways. For instance, QJ poster Nights' PSP looks like the above now (Hi Nights!).
3.0X OE Easy Version Changer only allows for a maximum of nine characters in the name you're planning on changing, so pick something short and sweet. Other than that, just remember to check the readme, as well as our forums, if you want to know more about installing and using this application. It's funny, I couldn't care less about this app (not that it's worthless, I just personally have no use for it, I'm sure it's a very nice app), but the wallpaper on that psp is pretty sweet.

Also, since X-Flash isn't released yet for OE-B, those of us who are impatient can still use this.
Better app for what? To change version number that 99% don't care about? Your use of PSP comes down to waving it at people while your System Info is on the screen?
C'mon, help me here! I really don't see how you could use this as X-Flash, since all this does is change version number displayed.

I changed my PSP to say just 3.03
So no hater with 3.03 will get jealous at me for having OE and try mess it up on me. They'll think that I'm a retard like them and leave it alone.

For those of us that care about detailed things on the PSP, this is a good release. It was timely, for the impatient ones, so this would change the version number previously changed by the OE-B update.
Also. If you want to trashtalk the people who put work and effort into these apps that tweak things that "99% don't care about", you are part of the reason why some of them are leaving. If/when Dark_Alex gets tired of people like this, at least I won't be one to blame because I know they try harder to make these apps than you try to look smart on your posts by badtalking their programs.
X-Flash is definitely the safest and widest collection of ways to tweak your PSP. This isn't trying to be better than X-Flash, it's trying a different way. Also, with this, you can edit it for use in DevHook, in case you want that version for it to be customized as well.
Eventually, everyone wants to flash something to customize their PSP. I'd rethink your percentages of people that care and don't care about this. I don't know about you, but I didn't get a PSP to go waving it at people looking for their response. I got it for ME, and what I wanted to put in it.
