3.02 POPS on 3.03 OE plugin |

Ó

Homebrew hero Dark_AleX released a tool to make your 3.03-ified PSP more fit for your needs. This plugin is used to load 3.02 PSX emulator on 3.03 OE.
Before you start ripping your hair out saying that this is a bit redundant because 3.03 has a better-working emulator than 3.02, remember in some cases this isn't quite so. You might want to try loading certain games using the 3.02 emu.
Instructions:
- Copy seplugins to the root of your memory stick.
- Using some of the latest psardumpers, extract the 3.02 firmware with the option of the button X.
- Once done, copy the following files from /F0/kd to /seplugins/pops302: meaudio.prx, mesg_led.prx,
- pops.prx and popsman.prx.
- Enter in recovery menu, and enable pops302ld.prx plugin if you want to load 3.02 emulator.
- Run the game. It will run with 3.02 psx emulator.
- Whenever you want to use again the 3.03 emulator, just disable the plugin from recovery menu.
He says it could be a problem with the different modules or quite simply a core issue with 3.02. Dark_Alex is still not sure if this SotN issue affects other games and suggests you might want to use uncompressed games to slow down the "high activity."

Suikoden2 works fine compressed for me on 3.03 using the 3.02 plugin.
I guess then that only some compressed games are supported ?

I have the 3.02 EBOOT and the psardumper but I don't know where to put the 3.02 EBOOT. Whenever I load the psardumper it says that it cannot find DATA.PSAR in the PSP's root, and I don't know where this DATA.PSAR comes from o_O
Can anyone help?

On my PSP, it will freeze, and then reboot after 15 seconds or so. Could anyone else try this? I'm using the 3.03 OEB.
What would happen in the PSX?

(btw, wasnt it just left hand+right hand (cuz i used R as right hand-more comfortable) ,without "B, BD, D, FD, F " ? just two hands - and the thing work

It also runs FF7 at Compression 9. The battle swirl is fixed, but the little picture box at the bottom left screen with the enemy is obviously still there though because this is 3.02. 3.02 plays FF7 better than 3.03 anyway. Glad I finally got it to work :)

I have 3.02 OE-B and didn't enter anything on the PSX2PSP compression thing as per required for my firmware, so I suppose the compression level is 0. Any ideas though?:(
Thanks in advance :)
