The process of taking away the filters - which, in yours truly's opinion, adds to the atmosphere and psychological elements of the game itself - is surprisingly easy, as all it takes is a few moment's worth of searching and deleting blocks of text. We won't go into detail on how it's actually done, but suffice to say it's effective in letting you see all the grisly action in Manhunt 2 in stark clarity. Ouch.

this game is fine to me.
So how long before Jack Thompson gets wind of this, and crusades it into the ground just like the Hot Coffee mod for GTA:SA? Come on folks, you know it's about to happen... At least the PSP console (and the homebrew world surrounding it) will get great publicity... Hope Sony doesn't shut us down though over it either...

Did you REALLY think that Rockstar would completely un-code the violence? Its so obvious that they would simple disable it in some plaintext config file so we could find it and enable it.

How to make it Uncut: 1. Open ISO in UMDGEN 2. Extract PSP_GAME\USRDIR\GLOBAL\LVLSETUP.INI and PSP_GAME\USRDIR\LEVELS\A01_ES\GLVLSET.INI 3. Open this files (with notebook) and find Code: # ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- # [GK] execution colour ramp options: flash fadein (sec), flash duration (sec), flash fadeout time (sec) EXECUTION_COLRAMP_TEXTURE FE_execramps EXECUTION_COLRAMP_FLASH_TIMES 0.25, 0.6, 0.3 EXECUTION_COLRAMP_FADE_TIME 5.0 delete this strings. 4. Replace original file in PSP_GAME\USRDIR\GLOBAL\LVLSETUP.INI 5. Replace original files in all levels in PSP_GAME\USRDIR\LEVELS\ with GLVLSET.INI 6. Save iso 7. Play ** Found this on the net.. Tested and working 100% ** Credit goes to UNKNOWN.. I just copy pasted it..
PS. I tried it with UMDGEN I found here on QJ (V2) But it didn't work.. Had to use latest version.. (V4) http://umdgen.ps3news.com/UMDGen_v4.00.rar Maybe this can be put in de download section as well.. very usefull tool Grtz

I got Manhunt 2 1 day after it's release and this hack works like a charm. Oh. My. God. I LOVE THIS GAME! This is SO incredibly demented and twisted its FUN AS HELL. My God the executions I've been doing are out of this world. This is just the most awesome game I have EVER played on the PSP. Gruesome Killings+ Espionage. My two favorite elements in a game combined together! This game is *****ing AWESOME. (But only when it's uncut :D)
