Quick load PSP homebrew: VSH iRShell beta

PSP homebrew iRShell - Image 1


If you find it a hassle scrolling through dozens of homebrew, here's a plugin to help you launch your iR Shell with a flick of two buttons. VSH iRShell from Total_Noob allows you to load AhMan's iR Shell by simply pressing R + Start. It's simple, it's quick, it's going to save you one or two seconds of your life every time you use it.

Installation:
  • You must install first iRShell
  • Download VSH iRShell and extract this in seplugins
  • Write in vsh.txt: "ms0:/seplugins/vshirshell.prx 1". (without the ")
  • Reboot the PSP and press R + START to load iRShell
A readme is included in the download below. As Total_Noob points out, there's still some bugs in this beta version, so you can expect some fixes headed your way in the future.

i don't find it a hassle to scroll through my homebrew. i've learned where all my stuff's at, and how long i need to scroll to get there. besides, i can just reboot my psp using Custom Firmware Extender and load up irshell using the Autoboot plugin. i don't need another line of text in my plugins anyway. don't think i'm gonna get it.

I don't think it's much of a hassle to scroll down two spaces to irshell or reboot to autostart irshell.

I haven't found a reason to download it so far because the uses seem very pointless.



And nothing has changed since I first got it when the 3.50 downgrade with Lumines was released.

I like irshell and all and hate having autoboot on cause xmb is cool sometimes too.



However, upon launching this plugin on 5.00 M33 firmware it crashes cause NIDs are missing.

I had the same problem. I wont use it as I also get the missing NID errors.



What I do is as I dont have a camera I replace the camera function with irshell. So I just click camera and IRShell loads.

You can change any icon to boot irshell. Just replace the icons PRX with the irshell PRX. Its that easy.
