Fany_rakion (yes, we finally found out the name of the anonymous Japanese coder - not to be confused with the other anonymous Japanese coder working on the gpSP mod) is back with an update for ScreenshotPNG Speedy Plugin - a tiny plugin app to take screenshots in VSH, GAME, and POPS.

"But wait! Doesn't iR Shell (and a couple other plugins and apps too) already do that?" Yeah, yeah, I hear ya. But the more homebrew to choose from, the better, right? This is, after all, very very tiny as it's in plugin form. So someone somewhere out there might also want to pounce on this. *wink*

The previous version only had the plugin up to CFW 5.00 M33-3 support but now, it's compatible with M33-6! Other than that, here's the rest of the changelog for v0.30:

Changelog ver.0.30:
  • The ability to specify a file name.
  • A signal that can be displayed after the end took a screenshot.
  • Fixed a bug that was captured in a frozen state if the display turns off.

good but

i think someone should update the ScreenshopPlugin v1.2 which takes pics and also gif images or "video" (as some ppl say) and make that more "speedy" cuz when you try and make a gif image or video the xmb and game slow down so much its like unbearable. its a great plugin but i wish it was faster.

:(

crashes when watching a video. didn't work for me in-game. it's cool that it's fast.
