If you won't take it from Freeplay, then perhaps you would from MaGiXieN. As explained many times over, the hack has yet to have access to kernel mode, so no HEN for the PSP Go just yet.

Oh, and I guess Magixien's English is way better than your French. Learn French, you'll catch girls and be happy.

Either way, I don't care. I don't plan to buy a PSP GOne so I could care less if it's hacked. Personally, I think it'll be a flop, but we'll see...
Yawn!

So the exploit is real, then does anyone have any guess what game could this be? Gran Turismo? MotorStorm? O.o

You're right, but you missed a few things:
- Even 'unpatched' Gripshift UMDs will no longer work for later firmwares; Sony patched it internally as of 5.02.
- The most important thing about UMD exploits is that you're essentially never forced to update if you don't want to. The problem with the PSP Go is that you MUST update to the latest FW if you want to keep accessing PSN, which is your only avenue for getting games. Sony could force you to update to a 'patched' FW just to keep access. With a UMD option, you could simply get older ones that didn't need FW updates, and choose to stay in your 'unpatched' FW.

Seriously, it will be a bad idea to send it to everyone, say, who posts here. We don't even know if there are people who work for Sony here, and could easily spill the beans and get the exploit flashed quick.

I didn't know that Gripshift had been patched internally. However the rest was basically was I was trying to tell GLO13AL_T3RROR. Again, thanks for the additional info.

2. People who CAN use it have been given the files. They'd be useless to nearly everyone.
3. If I want to show off, I will show off. If you don't like it, you can just IGNORE IT.

IF i could I would give you some "Zefier" which is a great French Treat!

All they need to do is crack the DRM and even if Sony does take the game off of PSN, it really wouldn't matter. "
except for the fact that you need CFW to play these cracked games.
think about it.
if it was that easy, no one would be asking for 5.55 or 6.00 CFW
they'de just go OFW and download the cracked version.

I know. :)
And yeah, I seem to have seen the guy around. No worries about his stuff holding sway.

Custom Phucking Firmware
once you get crack the DRM the PSP will refuse to boot it in OFW.
otherwise this would be done everywhere.
there would be heaps of torrent of games that run on Official Firmware.
do you see game torrents that run on OFW?
no you dont
just think about it before you reply again.

yoshihiro almost came near to that greatness. your programs may please some people, but dont expect everyone to know you, most of them didnt care to most of your work. its these downloaded games loader makers that gets almost all the praises. fact!
i myself is smart enough to see if the hello world is legit, this one is just for bragging stupid and somewhat useless. i find myself playing old school games like street fighter 2 waiting for the day someone can continue what alex has started.

have you tried using chickHen on the PSP GO?
did it freeze or just no effect?
Reply
Reply
But I agree that they should allow a certain leeway towards homebrew. Imagine Sony telling us to use homebrew. Their hardware sales would skyrocket.
Reply
Reply
so chickHEN would have to be coded for whatever firmware FreePlay wants to run it on.
Reply
think about it like this... if you were going to rob a bank would you send the details of your crime to the police before you did it so they could sit and wait for you? no? well thats effectively what these devs would be doing if they released this exploit to the general public. so...
1) stfu
2) understand that you have to crawl before you walk....
3) realize that this is a step towards what you want so badly
and
4) stfu already

1. Freeplay's hack! Oh, cool. Won't/can't be distributed? Well, alright. Moving on.
2. Freeplay's hack! Wtf? Why this again? Read, read, nothing new, bragging. Alright...... complain, move on.
3. MaGiXieN tests Freeplay's hack! WTF. WHY THIS AGAIN?
If Freeplay wants a lot of us to be impressed, USE THE HACK TO DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN BOOST YOUR OWN EGO.

How ignorant and untrue. US Americans aren't a race of white people, it's people from just about every country in the world. Not our fault we can eat dishes from 20 different nations. Like you said, you're not american and just going by what you hear. I personally hate snobs like you who think your country is so high and mighty. What country are you from anyway?

I have to say that I think the PSP Go is a far more legitimate target for CFW than previous models, as there really is no other way to play games on the system that aren't available via PSN. I'd love to play Gundam or Project DIVA on the Go, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that one day someone with greater skills than mine will open up the system so I can get rid of the older models.

news sites eat this stuff up, they see freeplay has a video and post news about it.
it's not like freeplay sent QJ a messege "look at what i can do"
the video was found and then posted.
people complaining about the vids should cry a river, build a bridge and GET OVER IT

if they allowed homebrew and concentrated on blocking only ISO loaders and other piracy techniques the PSP would own all,
i think the problem is that its quite hard to allow homebrew without someone eventually coding an iso loader.
i think this may be the reason the second OS option was removed for PS3 as well.
sony's employees must have seen a security hole and decided to get rid of the threat before anyone else found it.
to me, the hypervisor seemed to be doing its job well.
the PS3 is still the only console without an exploit (well if you mod it slightly you can play ps2 backups, but oh well, PS2 was last gen)
one thing that gets me though.
it's said you pay an extra premium on games because they know people will pirate.
why is it that x360 and PS3 games are same price and in some cases the PS3 version is more expensive if the PS3 is capable of playing pirated games?
guess the PS3 blows that out of the water.
they charge that much because they can.
in australia, tekken 6 for PS3 will be $149.95
i mean, what the hell is going on there?

The "deep fry" stuff was in reference to something I saw on American television. I can't remember the name of the show, but the guy made fun jokes about the US after Obama's election. His stuff ended up with : "Can we deep fry it? Yes we can". So, that was just a stupid reference and I didn't want it to be insulting.
Anyways, what you said was my point: Because of its history, food in the US has its roots mostly in other countries (and somehow gets greasy in the process - aw, don't hit me, it hurts :P), which is why I think criticizing other countries's food when you're American is way over the top.
Oh, and I'm not "going by what I hear". I lived in several countries, and the US is the only place I had to struggle to get acceptable (healthy) food for a reasonable price. If you travel outside of the US (which you might have done already), you will be surprised at how easy it is to get a healthy lunch for less than 8$ in most countries of the world. That's not the case in the US. At least not where I've been.

An eloader for the Go is proving to be more difficult than I'd imagined. I could likely make one for FW 5.03 or FW 5.50, but until someone cracks the Go's firmware update, it may be a lost cause. I have no way of making my NID resolver work when there are dozens of new functions on the Go that have completely unknown NIDs.
