Pharonyk's BOOTWaves - Image 1

Pharonyk just released an additional modification for everyone's PSPs. This time though, it modifies the Bootwave rather than the XMB waves from his earlier release, the LollerWAVES Pack.

LollerBOOTWAVES Pack - Plasma v2, created with the help of Vulpix's tgaWave Creative Studio, adds bootwaves you can use in conjunction with Pharonyk's earlier wave pack. For those that haven't seen it, it basically makes your wave look way flashier than ought to be allowed on the PSP.

Pharonyk does note a potential problem with playing PSX games as a result of using this, though he hasn't specified this in his readme or in the forum post, so we're a bit at a loss to explain what he meant by it. In any case, you can always give it a try, and then remove it as needed for game playing. Enjoy the download!

Oh, and Pharonyk, we read your comment. You should have a tag now, you lucky dog you.

is there a way to have a bootsound with it???

» Nice.

You can fix the POPS trouble like this:

1. Make a copy of opening_plugin.rco, and name it something like 0pening_plugin.rco. Make sure you have them BOTH in the Flash0:/VSH/RESOURCE/ folder.

2. Open a decrypted VSH/nodule/game_plugin.prx of your firmware, and locate the string "flash0:/vsh/resource/opening_plugin.rco".

Change it to the filename YOU created in step 1.

3. Never touch 0pening_plugin (the copy you made), but customise the original at free will without breaking POPS.

Sorry, I forget the name of the guy who found this.

» since you asked so nicely...

It's a bit tricky but you need to get a 3.11 update. What you do is start to upgrade your psp. Then as it's about 50% done (remember, the closer to 50% the better) pull out your battery. If you do it right, when you put your battery back in and boot up your psp, it should bring you to a blue screen. From there you to Advanced->Configuration->Options->Enable startup boot.

Hope this helped XD

» wise will ef u over

dont listen to him he will fudge u over, jus downgrade to 1.5 use dark_alex's 3.03 oe-c upgrade and change what u want to change in recovery mode using usb to flash(0) or flash(1) flash (1) will most like not really brick your psp but flash (0) will if you dont kno wat u are doing, and also i said to use 3.03 oe-c because its the best and u can pretty much emulate anything unlike 3.10 oe-a or a2, and also make sure to rename the file eEXACTLY AS THE ORIGINAL UNLESS YOUR PSP WILL FO SURE BRICK!!!!! USE AT UR OWN RISK!
