HOMEBREW FOR PSP v1.50 FIRMWARE!!! |
Ó

NOTE: This news article and the one below it are going to stay at the top of this site for a while so that everyone gets a chance to see this groundbreaking news. All new news articles will be posted below. (i.e.: Doom/Doom2 for PSP was released, read 2 articles down!)
Finally what you all have been waiting for, Swaploit has been released! This hack allows all you people with PSPs that have 1.5 Firmware to run HOMEBREW! A HUGE thanks to the Spanish guys over at PSP-Dev for this release!
I have also added an html file with links to many of the popular homebrew Emulators, Games, and Applications that have been released, so you don't have to go digging through our files section. You can view it here (or the news post below).
UPDATE: New version has been released v2, Method A now works and Linux is supported: You can get the new PSP Launcher in our PSP Download section here. (it's a RAR file, you need WinRar to to unzip it.)
UPDATE: One of our moderators Brain_stew has submitted this great zip (by PawStick of PSP-Dev) which contains pre-made MS1 and MS2 folders for the following emulators: Cygne0.0, fMSX06, GenPSP0.01, MAME v0.71n, NesterJ v1.01, ngPSP v1.2.1, PCE v0.53, PSP4PCE v0002, pSwan v0.03, RIN v1.24, SMS PSP v0.30, Snes9x v0.02y9, and xMAME v0.12. You can get it here.
Edit: We hate to have to say this again, but we will immediately delete any comments that 1) are unnecessarily inflammatory, 2) use excessive or unnecessary profanity, or 3) are useless or pointless rants. Please keep comments civil.

OMG FINALLY
You can't expect me to believe that you have just dicovered that v1.5 can run homebrew!
Darn, I have v2.6. :( lolz
does it work for 2.7? lmao
god, i hated the swaploit,
took you long enough, now i have 3.8 and 10 ninja cats! You better help out with the bills mister!
we are off to discoverig how to hack 2.71
In the light of the 2.71 hack, discovered three days ago, I thought I'd come and visit the classic exploit. When there was no web browser, no "Game cannot be started: Data is corrupted!" and no TIFF format =) Swaploit was great when it came out, my life began from that day (effectively HA) Rest in peace, CybBlade; John (Jack).
OMGWTFBBQ! What about 2.8?
Portugal é o rei em homebrew, os melhores são de cá, VIVA PORTUGAL
I'm paying a pilgrimage to this article. This is really where PSP homebrew took a big stride.
