TA-082 Motherboard

"maybe late i will make a software to let "FW2.50 TA-082" user to dump "NandFlash & DDR DRam" data to me than i can make the "FW1.00/1.50 NandFlash img" to help them SoftDown their TA-082 :P"

These are the words of 0okm that a lot of TA-082 owners have been hanging on to since he discovered a method SoftDown for FW2.50 TA-082 to FW1.00/1.50. The process may be a bit lengthy and complex, but it sure is worth your while. And as promised (but more of teased don't you think?) it is finally here. 0okm on his blog writes:

you can use this software to Check your PSP if your PSP is NOT Original FW2.50 TA-082 this software will Display "Sorry, This Software CAN'T Support Your PSP" if your PSP is Original FW2.50 TA-082
this software will dump your PSP's DATA to Folder ms0:O250082CnD

when i finish the Write software i will post how-to send me your PSP's DATA
than i can help you softdown your Original FW2.50 TA-082 PSP

NOTE :
Now the SoftDown method NOT SUPPORT Original FW2.60 TA-082 PSP
Also NOT SUPPORT FW2.70/2.71/2.80 TA-082 PSP

Now that you've checked your PSP and it passed with flying colors, here are some new words to hang on to, "when i finish the Write software." Doesn't that just reverberate in your head, like a haunting melody? All we can hope for now is that it will be soon. You can depend on the QJ crew to give you the lowdown on any updates, however minute, on this SoftDown method.

My question is is Ookm going to work his magic on each set of data he's sent? I mean how many ta-82 users are going to send him files?...... I hope he has a lot of free time........ and a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGG mailbox.

non-GTA downgrader for non-TA082 2.5 psps?

Just a quick question: would this lead to a downgrader for non-TA082 2.5 psps that doesn't require GTA?
by - 2006-08-23 12:35:33
The wait is over...

Wow, I can't tell you how long I've been holding a PSP 2.5 - just sitting there collecting dust while I'm flashing the hell out of my 1.5. This is fantastic news. 1.5 is almost here! -Ka0tiK

why

i was wonderting why it is that each individaul psp needs its own "FW1.00/1.50 NandFlash img", what is the diffrence between each psp system? why wouldnt one single downdater work on all TA-082 motherboards?
by - 2006-08-23 15:19:55

by almaz - 2006-08-23 15:47:31

by MedievalAnubis - 2006-08-23 17:29:55

Just to let people know the filedump size will be about 41.0 MB (43,024,384 bytes). So leave about 42 MB free and don't even try it on a 32MB card! :)
by - 2006-08-23 18:12:38
I am lost here please help

I got the game could not be started (80020148) is that good or bad
by - 2006-08-23 18:35:43

by - 2006-08-23 18:59:02

Oooo, I'm 2.71, ic6001 upgraded from 2.6, when i can downgrade, please help~!!!
by - 2006-08-23 19:57:39
so for the downgrader will i need e loader

i need to know cuz i updated to 2.8 after my gta lcs broke
by the_darkside_986 - 2006-08-23 21:42:51
Uh oh

@ 25. If you got 2.8, you're screwed because not even gta eLoader works on 2.7 or above. You'll have to wait until the libtiff exploit is working on 2.8, and it will be working on lower firmwares a lot sooner than it will on 2.8.
by - 2006-08-23 21:46:36
ggg.jpg noobzorz

f%ck no this needs gta and doesnt work on 2.60+

QNS QNS

Can 0okm cre8 another software that do need the eloader thingy, cuz i do not have the GTA LC??? i must say, 0okm is the savior for TA-82 psp owners.
by - 2006-08-23 22:30:40
@28

@28 you need eloader with gta lcs to use the program
by - 2006-08-24 09:44:35
Well done

Thanks 0okm for the effort. Much appreciated! =D
by GamerX - 2006-08-24 10:58:02
dammit

Damn, I expect this to be a giant leap to get closer to a solution for the suffered users with TA-082 with factory 2.71 (like me). One more week without homebrew and I'll commit suicide.
by - 2006-08-24 11:09:28
@32

same here, gamer x. same here.....
by - 2006-08-24 11:10:39
great news...

but im trying to figure it out ... he says youll have to send him ur dumps to him so he can "try" to figure it out if it can be done...
by - 2006-08-24 12:59:00

Whoever even -asks- if they need GTA for this to work needs to be shot in the head, and probably won't even be able to use a 1.5 except for the .iso torrents that come with a loader. And to those who ask if it works on 2.7+, are you retarded? There isn't even a known exploit on 2.7+, let alone one with the capabilities to run this program. I say QJ institutes an IQ test every time you log on, so we don't get dumbass people posting comments that make me want to stab myself in the face.
by KaVaYo - 2006-08-24 13:25:19
Nice!

I'm happy for the unlucky (for the moment) owners of a ta-082 Main Board PSP, altough i think that is fair to be possible to downgrade them to 1.5 since this mainboard it's hard-coded-locked. Despite not all TA-082 releases are hard-coded the same way so there may be a chance for the older versions (first verision) of the MoBoAnyway good job and no such luck that I'm wrong.... Time will decide. (I wish with all my strenght to be wrong)
by - 2006-08-29 16:31:55

by - 2006-09-02 16:19:43
