Hello again World, new version of TIFF exploit released, now works on both Phat and Slim |
Ó
It didn't take MaTiAz long to deliver on a promise, so here it is - the
new version of the Hello World TIFF exploit for FW 5.03. As for the
other promise of "awesomeness" that he told us about in the previous
release, well, we'll have to wait a bit more for that. In the mean
time, let's knock ourselves out with this one, which is already
"awesomeness" as it is.This version is compatible with both the PSP Slim and Phat, just as promised. Perhaps we'll need to wait for the next release for PSP-3000 compatibility.
Developer notes:
Just copy the files to the memory stick root, disconnect USB and go to photo menu. Don't dismiss the exploit even if it doesn't work on the first time, it's *very* unstable. You might get it working on the first time, but you might as well have to try it 20 times!
The h.bin is loaded to 0x08800000, and the text address of paf.prx is passed in $a0 to the binary code. You can then trick out function imports, like for example sceDisplayWaitVblankStart: sceDisplayWaitVblankStart = (void*)(paf_addr+0x15F068);
Instructions:
1. Copy either slim.tiff or phat.tiff to /PSP/PHOTO/ folder on the memory stick, depending on
your PSP model. Do NOT copy both!
2. Copy h.bin to the root of the memory stick.
So what're you waiting for? Head on over to DL and get this new baby running! Enjoy

Need 3k not phat or slim.
just be glad someone is working on it. they will have it soon enough. and who knows what this "awsomeness" is...maybe its CFW for all psps...who knows. so dont know it for now ;)
Don't really play the PSP anymore.
Just be glad people still do and bother working on it.
Respect to MaTiAz for this one.
I still lovingly caress my PSP1001 downgraded via TIFF exploit 1.0
@@Portable
Why are you even here then??? just go away !!
Meaning it works on the pandora proof ta-88v3 boards. Before long it'll work on the 3000. Even if it's just HEN that we get out of it I'll be happy.
fake until they release the files, they never do
Anyone here know a good, good price, and secure site to order a replacement LCD screen.
Yeah. congrats you guys.
the hello world crap is looking like it'll work soon on the PSP 3000.
i'm thinking of buying a new psp (my old one went shotty)
and this has been something i've been greatly looking forward too
Are you retarded?
uh dude...this is been announced all over and its 100% legit...not fake.
Still cant get it to work on my slim.
I go to photos in the XMB, and then it just freezes and shuts down.
Any ideas?
I hope this leads to CFW on my PSP-3000 when released for it..Maybe we'll get to that point sooner or later :)
Just to make fun of people really no other reason. :)
Free shipping and cheap. But I've heard reviews about it having crappy packaging, it's up to you.
Got my LCD replacement for my psp-1000 from there, about a year ago maybe for $40. what amazed me about it was the screen competed well with the psp-2000s 5th brightness. i was confused. i think it was a 2000 screen modded to work on the phat.
I have information from a trusted source that this works on PSP3000 models too.
are you lying? Is that only on 5.03 firmware?
Read through the original thread http://forums.mformature.net/showthread.php?t+2242
People got it working for the 3k psps
I'm not lying, check my blog on wololo.net/wagic
It also works on 5.02 at least so don't upgrade to 5.03
Does this allow you to downgrade to 1.50 or a CFW or does it just display a picture that says "Hello World"?
You're a *****ing moron, why don't you *****ing read the article and you'll have your *****ing answers.
This TIFF exploit already works on the PSP 3000, you just copy the slim.tiff file and it should be working. Lets hope this introduces homebrew to PSP 3000
does this mean it works on the new slim psps? the one that can't be modded yet?
because describing in words how stupid that was... just doesn't work.
Do you realize the link to the files are at the bottom of the article? Probably not. You'd have to be able to READ the article to notice
yeah, the same thing happened to me a lot. then i deleted all my other pictures on my psp besides the .TIFF. see if that works. it worked for me.
rename slim.tiff to poc.tiff
