It won't be too long until other devs try to help out those who will be downgrading from FW2.80 to 2.71 using 0okm's golden downgrader. As mentioned by my co-blogger Pranav, don't expect this 0okm creation to be as easy as a Dark_AleX downgrader. So with that, some devs are extending a helping hand to those who are stumped.Before you go over the steps and the download links, we just want to remind you that you are using this at your own risk. Get it (and in the future, other "easy" downdaters) "if you know HowTo use and can take the Risk". But just because it's risky, it doesn't mean we'll leave you all by yourself as you do this. We would help you in the best way we know how.
With that said, Klm Software reported and released an "easy" version of 0okm's TA-082 - TA-086 FW2.8 to 2.71 downgrader. The devs provided six steps for you to have a 2.71 PSP in your midst. The first step is to download the "easy" downgrader which is about 13 MB in size, then install xLoader.
When you're done with that part, install the downloaded easy downgrader, then start xLoader, and run the downgrader. Wait, those are just five steps, what's next? The last, and to some the most important, step is to pray that this thing works. So just to avoid any confusion, we'll outline the steps for you again.
- Download the "easy" downgrader
- Install xLoader
- Install downloaded easy downgrader
- Start xLoader
- Run downgrader
- PRAY
With that said, if you want to know more about xLoader, you could read these articles: the first one is about the eLoader v.0995 "Kriek" release, and the other is basically a xLoader clarification from the Noobz crew. If you missed the first link to 0okm's FW 2.80-2.71 downgrader for TA-079- TA-086 PSPs, here is the article link again.
Now on to the download links, it is important that you read the file description when you're downloading files at dl.qj.net. They might teach you a thing or two. Unfortunately, we couldn't host the easy downgrader file due to some legal issues, so we leave it up to you if you will get it or not. But if you choose to use it, here are the files that you may need.

windows won't even let me run the program...says it's not a valid win32 file.
The file is 11mb zipped, and there's no firmware dump required. It looks like illegal files are being distributed with this downgrader, so you should remove it if you want to stay with your policies.
Just wait for more peeps to try this method, its late for most of the world and most wont read this until the morning. I'm gonna sit this one out and see how it pans out, best of luck to those who try.
0okm should've just released the original to the public; trying to hide information in this day and age never works anyway as you can see.

I got mine from 0okm direct so I haven't tried the one hosted here, but I'm glad and very relieved to say it worked like a charm.
The version I used required me to extract the 2.71 data.psar manually on a 3.02 OEB (or any firmware that can run homebrew) and then copy the extracted files onto the 2.8 PSP along with 0okm's new code. There were no illegal files contained within the downgrader itself.

This easy downgrader looks nice but I wonder if its any safer? (which is usually par for the course till someone takes the time to put some file checks in the process)
If anyone out there is knowledgable (or ballzy) enough to verify file checking or brick-prevention of any kind in this or the inevitable upcoming wave of other ‘easy’ downgraders - that would be valuable info to pass along while reporting your success to others looking to downgrade.

Many of these will be ok, but the gems are the ones will some safety protocols (certainly OOKM has never released a clean, easy, SAFE work of code =P)

If this downdater does indeed work, you can downgrade to 1.5 after you use this to downgrade from 2.8 to 2.71 using Dark_Alexes TA-082 2.71 to 1.5 downdater. After you have done that you can upgrade to 3.02 OE-A and then 3.02 OE-B respectively.

First of all, QJ.net says that they tested it, so it isn't fake.
Second of all, if you've EVER run Windows Update on your computer, you already have the framework.
i successfully used the manual method by ookm, but this one is exactly the same but with integrated psar dumps. (Checksums match)
For sure not legal but if this one does brick your psp then ookm's manual method does either.

the downdater seems to be missing a file... who eva got a 2.71 donwgrade was extremely luck... wo ti suggest that u guyz do is wait for a bit longer. i knwo that it may be hard wanting 302OE but like me i have bricked a total of 5 PSP's in the past n have learnt to wait... so ppl take it from me... plz wait for anotherdowngrad er.

0okm is a little sh*t head all his hacks brick ur psp!!! i bricked my 2.80 trying to use the one b4 this and then i borught it back for a 2.71 and downgraded my 2.71 with dax's downgrader [DAX RULES!!] and then upgraded to 3.02 oe-a but i cant get oe-b for sum reason ionno why...

This downgrader is for TA~082-086 users that want to downgrade to 1.5 using DAXs downgrader. As long as it works, people don't care if it is missing a file. Worked for me and i'm now on OE firmware
this easy donwgrader does work if you follow the simple instructions. i just help my friend downgrade his psp to 2.71 then to 1.5 then right up to 3.02oeb. thanks ookm for his work well done!!
if the numbers 1c1003 are on the rightside of the psp umd but are upside down is it ta-082

Yes you can erase the 3.02 OE update files after the update has been done.

the reason that thier might be soo many bricks may be because the firmware dump the the easy downgrader uses might not be one of the best dumps out. also those of youthat are using memory cards (all of u) rememba that it is highey sujested to use a 32mb memory card. the reason being they r more stable touse wen using flash memory. my 2gb memory card bricked 2 of my psp's so i started using a 32mb. remember 32mb n always format it wit the ps b4 u use it to donwgrade
