European GripShift exploit solved, release on the way

Sparta SDK - Image 1

Though the original exploit and Sparta SDK that MaTiAz found on GripShift works on the NA, EU, and JAP versions of the game, the binary loader doesn't. They're currently working on all that (Go MaT! Go FreePlay! Go Noobz!), and so far, they've actually already pretty much solved the European version of the exploit:

It's almost done, just need to update the SDK too. I won't release it until I've done the Japanese version too (which won't take too long though) and FreePlay has come online to encrypt it for me.

In other PSP development circles, Bubbletune and Miriam seem to also have found a solution for the European version. From what it looks like, they're also going to be releasing their own version - an appended SDK - for the European exploit too.

Nope.

AFAIK, you won't be able to get HEN running through this exploit. Ya got no kernel-modez! Maybe later on?

I agree

People wantingthe game or the PSP-3000 just because of this exploit should wait until we can do something actually useful with it.
