eLoader(GTA) w/ USB for FW2.50/2.60 Released *UPDATE* |

0okm has released a modified version of eLoader for 2.50/2.60. We are probably all aware of 0okm's hardware modifications to the PSP, but this is one of his most recent software creations, and this time it comes to eLoader. eLoader was developed by Fanjita and Ditlew using the GTA exploit. Now, for those who did not downgrade or can not downgrade (those with TA-082 motherboards), you can now run eLoader and use a USB connection to transfer files to or from your PSP. In the past this was not possible using the eLoader on 2.5/2.6, but 0okm has worked his magic and it is now possible! Although eLoader can not load the USB call function, this program can. All you have to do is run this application after having started eLoader

Its NOT A MODIFICATION TO GTA eloader. You still need the original GTA eloader. Its a seperate program that enables USB mode. It'll spit you back to the eloader and from there you can enable USB mode. Please make that clear.
BTW it in NO WAY WRITES TO FLASH! This is purely a RAM hack.
yay i wish people would make more stuff for 2.5/2.6 psp's. i really dont want to downgrade my psp to play some homebrew becuase i dont like to have a chance of it messing up on me.

I do not know how that last line got there, but it wasn't me lol :p This is not a mod, as I should've clarified - It is a separate homebrew application that works with eLoader, but this is the first to actually have USB mode work

It's good when they find system calls in the 2.5 and 2.6 fw's, but who on earth is using that eLoader (except ta-82ers). The loading time is just awful and you have to carry GTA around for your homebrew. That's why I downgraded. I was really nervous about the downgrading but it was worth it. My fw has been flashed no more than 3 times (1.5 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 1.5)

i been waiting for 2.71 downgrader or something like this for it. this great news and i hope 2.71 is net target for hacking!!!
I really feel sorry for all those with TA-082.....all Loosers with a huge amount of bad luck, or either ignorancy at buying their PSP
Just because we have TA-82 does not mean we are "Losers". It also does not mean we are ignorant at buying out PSP's. ALL new PSP's out of the stores ARE TA-82. Right now they say 1% of all PSP owners own TA-82, but in 3 months 5% of all owners will have TA-82. It's not bad luck it's simply PSP2 the NEXT GENERATION of PSP's. I bought a defective TA-82, returned it recieved ANOTHER defective TA-82, returned it, and recieved ANOTHER defective TA-82!!! ALL NEW PSP'S ARE TA-82 PSP'S!!!!!

I would say another hack will come out for the later revision TA082 PSP, but the solution would most likely be a custom firmware rather than a downgrade to a flawed firmware(1.0/1.5). How many hardware revisions did the PS2 go through in sony's efforts to thwart the modchip market?
@25 well thats bizarre you have bad luck ..cos the last two psp i bought the latest last week wasnt a ta 082 ...my preivious was 1.5 fw and no ta 082 bought 3 weeks before....
What are the uses of this function? Is it possable to run the downgrader 1.5 files using this? i cant find anyone who has 1.5 to share it with me : (

i was a 1.5 psp ....after i heard thats 2.6 can be downgraded i update it to 2.6 and thinking i can comeback to 1.5............big LOL what happen is thats i find out thats i need a special version of GTA LCS .....well i was scew and i still screw anyway . so is it possible to downgrad with out thats game ? is it possible to have a eloader working with out GTA ? honestly ....sorry i have been noob ...but i was thinking it will work like the 2.0 downgrader .....i mistake !!!! so we all still need GTA special version to launch the eloader anyway ...................

It aint worth it. by Mike Sure you are logged since october, and you at least couldN'T read that there is a problem-free-safe to downgrade to FW 1.5 to let u play all those oldy games , wich rather had more fun that many of the newer games. Hell yeah, also if u didN'T knew Devhook exists to let you play your brand new psp games with no problem. The thing is that probably you don't like the tatste of those old games because U either are to young and/or do not have REAL good memories from them! there's only one prob, maybe you had bad luck at buying your PSP in your local and got that marvelous TA-082, that couln't be hacked(NOT yet) to play what you want and your totally envious of the other 99% of the customers that do not have that psp

u can just get a GTA compatible with eloader on ebay for hardly anything. blame rockstar for fixing the exploit but forgive them for how kick ass VCS will be. u seen the australian scans!!!! its gonna kick ass big time!!!!
I for one would like to thank you for this, i love seeing that us 2.5/6ers arn't forgotton. anyone ask why this is helpfull? It's been said befor how long the loading times are to ruin homebrew, im willing to wait. but when im tring to figure out why a certain game isn't ruinning, it's a lot quiker to run this then to reboot back to XMB, transfer, load gta, load the eloader, then start over again. Again thank you

You should just downgrade if you dont have TA082, its way better than loading the eLoader , but I guess with this, it would be less of a pain!
