For all those who couldn't enjoy the latest version of Devhook because they didn't know how to make the dumps, Noob Slayer has spent a little time in making these tutorial vids which will guide you through the installation. If you can ignore the loud Three Days Grace song, you will be able to hear his instructions properly. On to the videos then!

If you still can't figure out how the installation works, our faithful mod, Hardrive has made a great guide in the forums. Why not check it out now.

Currently overclocking the cpu clock speed using this version of Devhook isn't supported. Using anything but the default will make the PSP freeze. I'd wait until another release of this version when most of the bugs will be worked out, because at the present time it's not worth much.

# Well doneGuest 2006-11-30 22:50
The video was well done! Most of the things he was talking about I new about myself but I wasn't sure how to execute the process properly. Take the video 1 step at a time and it works great!

Thanks

It was all very simple from the readme, personally I felt this made the process look more confusing and difficult when it really is not.

I guess it depends on the viewer and how they take in information better. The visual effect made things easier for me to understand than reading the readme file. Of course the readme can be looked over alot faster and works fine too but the variet is pretty cool.

It doesn't have to be illegal.

I have RC1 on my computer with a legal beta key.

Some people would definitively have to get a drop of common sense bangs in their heads O_O.

OK, the idea of making such a video to explain the DH0.50 install process is good, but, my, how can anyone understand anything to what's going on here ???!

Start of by turning down/OFF the damn background music, have someone speak in an articulated way, have someone else who knows the basics of filming so we can see what the hell is actually happening on the screen.

I know this is a lot of work, but might as well produce something useful...

yours faithfully

# I understood it perfectly...Guest 2006-12-01 02:41
Because I took the time to go to the forums and READ the instructions :P. Course when I got to 2.82 the first time I had no sound, then the tut was changed to include the audio.prx. Then I got the intro multilanguage screen and some devhook menu over that. Didn't know what to do after that, but the sound sounded like it was crackling. I'll keep trying though until I get it,helps to have a video tut also so thanks for that anyway. But, then again, I'm not so picky as most people :P . All I can say is at least I didn't brick the friggin thing ...lol.

In your forum tut, add the configuration part. I missed that part the last 2 or three times :-D But, yah, I followed this video tut and it helped greatly, thanks man :D!!!

# it's great and all...Guest 2006-12-01 04:30
but seriously...like others said, you can't really see what's going on. It's only meant for people who has worked these kind of stuff since they're familiar with such files and termanology.

As for the noobs out there, they're going to have one hell of a hard time following along since they don't see where and what you're clicking. Sure, the guy may have said it in his words, but still, that's not good enough.

I'll still give him the props, though, for going out of his way in making one, but as a video itself, not that well shot.

Nice effort. But yes. first Lose the music. 2nd. speak more loudly and with a firm voice. 3rd. we can't see crap in the video. Too small and blurry.
