Ó

Be patient, everyone. Davee's HEN Kernel exploit will eventually arrive given time. To tide over that wait, here's a little video demonstrating the 5.03 HEN in action. This one was posted by Granite, one of the beta testers of Davee (Team Typhoon).

Here's his little note about the video (check out that last line - we still have something to expect for later!):

This is a demo of the 5.03 firmware running the tiff exploit and booting into a HEN environment on a PSP 2003 (3000 Support also) on 5.03 Official Firmware. This proves that the code survives a reboot and the system software and MAC address can be changed. This is something that only can be done with a kernel exploit. A video launching homebrew will be posted later.

but if one of your friends has a hacked psp they can make a pandora for you. as for magic memory stick on a mac... yes it's possible... but way more difficult than necessary (you should own a pc)

Wanker, if you can even compile a simple Ping Pong game on the PSP then you might realise that this 'stuff' is not as easy as it looks.

Just don't answer if you don't want to.

Or if you do want to don't bich about it.

I'm so tired of people that feel so elite on a stinking message board.

Don't ask this.

Don't say that.

Who died and made you Al the internet God?

# Havn't downgraded a PSP since the lumines exploitPCEngineSHMUP 2009-04-29 07:51
I have a phat PSP that I put CFW on with the Lumines exploit (seems like sooo long ago); now I can put CFW on my PSP slim, I've been using the pandora battery for homebrew on my slim, but it'd be so cool to not have to use it when the HEN gets released, can't wait!

You'll actually be *losing* functionality by going from CFW to this HEN. The early versions will be buggy, missing features, and it's not nearly as effective as an actual flash of CFW to the PSP, which is what you already have.

You don't need to have a Pandora's battery and magic memory stick on your Slim all the time. Once you've used Pandora to convert to CFW, you can return the battery and memory stick to normal and everything still runs fine.

# My slim is under warrantyPCEngineSHMUP 2009-04-29 11:43
The reason I've been using the pandora on my slim is because I got it a couple of months back and it's still under warranty, I've only downgraded a PSP once, so I'm not real sure if I could do it again

if you can use a pandoras battery, just run CFW. i think anything your waranty is good for can be fixed with a pandoras battery.

Wow...You're such an ass. Craft is right, the better place is to ask in the message board (this is the comment section, btw, learn the difference.) Which may not get him a faster and better reply then at the homebrew forum.

If I was you, I would let my friend do it. Trust me, it's worth $20. Besides, $20 is just two game rentals or movie money. Yeah, the economy is hard, but 20 is the new 10. .

Your slim is not under warranty. Not if you've been using a Pandora in it.

once my cousin's psp had a brocken screen.. he bought his psp at bestbuy.. bestbuy's garranty doesn't cover that kind of stuff. Then I bricked his psp, so it wont turn on the screen.. then he went to exchange his psp, w/o problems. :D

I had a psp since 2006, and I've been exchanging it, about 5 times now. W/o problems. Last time I did. I had a fully working white psp, but i wanted a red one.. I went to Bes....B.. and said the joystick wasn't working as it should.. and I got my red psp. +)

PS. my English is pretty bad, as you can noticed.
