Demo video of PSP 5.03 HEN exploit in action |
Ó
Here's his little note about the video (check out that last line - we still have something to expect for later!):
This is a demo of the 5.03 firmware running the tiff exploit and booting into a HEN environment on a PSP 2003 (3000 Support also) on 5.03 Official Firmware. This proves that the code survives a reboot and the system software and MAC address can be changed. This is something that only can be done with a kernel exploit. A video launching homebrew will be posted later.

Can't wait! My bro has a psp 2000 ( TA88v3 mobo)
Now we can play SNES together.
Nice work davee and matiaz and wololo and dax and like everyone else who anyone would recognize
is there a way to tell psp 3000 firmware like in barcode what firmware the psp 3000 comes with. i wanna know so when i get one its a 5.03 firmware
ok im a noob at homebrew...so i want to run PSPtube and snes emulater so what do i need to run it.I have a white starwars PSP 2000 so what do i need and also can make a magic memory stick it with a mac or not. last where do i get a pandora battery or can i use the one that came with the PSP 2000? plz help
Hmmm, PSP 2003 huh Gino D.?
Victory shall yet be mine!
the is pretty sweet but will there be an iso loader i wonder and IS that on a TA88v3???
HEN will not load ISOs you will have to wait for a downgrader but my question is will the HEN automatically change my psp's mac address
but if one of your friends has a hacked psp they can make a pandora for you. as for magic memory stick on a mac... yes it's possible... but way more difficult than necessary (you should own a pc)
its looks so fake but i know it isnt, you know what they say sometimes the things that happen to look fake are real and vice versa. or something like that :)

froggy
Wanker, if you can even compile a simple Ping Pong game on the PSP then you might realise that this 'stuff' is not as easy as it looks.
lol i heard DAX has been running cfw on ta88v 3 mobo since lauch.....but he is searching for another loop....
You're awesome "Now we can play SNES together"
You get extra brownie points for that one
Just don't answer if you don't want to.
Or if you do want to don't bich about it.
I'm so tired of people that feel so elite on a stinking message board.
Don't ask this.
Don't say that.
Who died and made you Al the internet God?
I have a phat PSP that I put CFW on with the Lumines exploit (seems like sooo long ago); now I can put CFW on my PSP slim, I've been using the pandora battery for homebrew on my slim, but it'd be so cool to not have to use it when the HEN gets released, can't wait!
He's not...How was that response rude in any way? He(or she) is just informing him....
You'll actually be *losing* functionality by going from CFW to this HEN. The early versions will be buggy, missing features, and it's not nearly as effective as an actual flash of CFW to the PSP, which is what you already have.
You don't need to have a Pandora's battery and magic memory stick on your Slim all the time. Once you've used Pandora to convert to CFW, you can return the battery and memory stick to normal and everything still runs fine.
The reason I've been using the pandora on my slim is because I got it a couple of months back and it's still under warranty, I've only downgraded a PSP once, so I'm not real sure if I could do it again
i kno a guy who will do it 4 me but 4 $20 and I need 2 save money because of the economy so I want 2 do it myself im just wondering if i can make a pandora battery that came with my PSP 2001 P.S. im a guy 1ofamillion
"The reason I've been using the pandora on my slim is because I got it a couple of months back and it's still under warranty, I've only downgraded a PSP once, so I'm not real sure if I could do it again"
if you can use a pandoras battery, just run CFW. i think anything your waranty is good for can be fixed with a pandoras battery.
put this in your url to see a live view of hen in action:

Wow...You're such an ass. Craft is right, the better place is to ask in the message board (this is the comment section, btw, learn the difference.) Which may not get him a faster and better reply then at the homebrew forum.
funny how people buy a psp but play only snes games. what a shame
If I was you, I would let my friend do it. Trust me, it's worth $20. Besides, $20 is just two game rentals or movie money. Yeah, the economy is hard, but 20 is the new 10. .
Your slim is not under warranty. Not if you've been using a Pandora in it.
ok you got me, i shouldve seen that one coming That was pretty good. lol
And the way the economy is tanking, soon inflation will make $200 the new $20...
Yeah, sure.. play SNES games.
once my cousin's psp had a brocken screen.. he bought his psp at bestbuy.. bestbuy's garranty doesn't cover that kind of stuff. Then I bricked his psp, so it wont turn on the screen.. then he went to exchange his psp, w/o problems.
I had a psp since 2006, and I've been exchanging it, about 5 times now. W/o problems. Last time I did. I had a fully working white psp, but i wanted a red one.. I went to Bes....B.. and said the joystick wasn't working as it should.. and I got my red psp. +)
PS. my English is pretty bad, as you can noticed.
