How do I use it?

I loaded it up and it installed onto devhook right, cause the files are in the kd folders. But how do I get the cheat menu to come up when I'm playing a game?(and I've checked that it has codes for the game I am playing.)

comes with Translated manuals and readme also comes with a small variety of cheats for games such as Megaman Maverick Hunter, Kingdom of Paradise , Monster Hunter and more. When comparing Memory Dumps with the provided tool, i find it seesm to take about 30 mins to do a single comparison :S So its gonna take awhile before you can make your first cheat Not because you are inept, just because compairing 25MB dumps takes a long time

In Tenchu for PSP, it has draw distance problems, I was attempting to possibly extend it(if it's a value), but it's one of those can't tell if it's changed or not and really hard to search for.

to those who couldn't see me before enable showing for not registered users :P to DiabloTerrorGF yeah it's a difficult thing to do you need to disassemble the game or the memory dump (you could use the disassembler by BOOSTER). but to find it you need to know asm and psp programming so i don't think it's a code possible to be made by the user sorry :(

database fix

there is a problem with the distribuited database which involves generation of chaos and legend of heroes 2. the IDs of those games were swapped so legend of heroes 2 was recognised as generation of chaos and viceversa then there was also a problem with some codes of generation of chaos which pointed to a wrong adress (damn search and replace :P) you can find the new database from http://cwcheat.zioale.it then when you have the cheat.db you just have to overwrite the one inside ms0:/dh/ and that's all :)

I find it amusing that the first cheat device for PSP had to be a hack, and therefore free. So much for the ole Action Replay. I'm looking forward to playing with this later. Weltall, thanks for this great Cheat Tool. It was exactly what I had been wanting all this time. Also, if you decide to rewrite the Cheat Searcher in C, please allow to load in multiple dumps (like 4-5). This will make searching for powerbars and other stuff like that much easier and more exact. PEC (Playstation Emulator Cheat-Tool) is a prime example how well this can work for other systems.

Crashes

When I installed it, it worked. I was able to get the cheats on and everything on blade dancer(some of you others may know this game is sort of tough so you have to take time to level up to a good level for it to be a bit easy), but so far I've had 3 random crashes on it. Two have been from a boss fight from Ibris and the second from the dread night, but I fought them faster to solve that problem. And the 3rd one was from when after I saved in jade and tried to go to costners house, then it just froze while Lance was walking. Anyway, I'm using devhook 0.46. Is the freezes because of this or devhook?

Ok so I can dump my game no problem but how do I get the thing to work so I can search for cheats on my PC. Everytime I try to open it is says a component may be missing.

it's better if you use more bigger numbers anyway you select the first button and input the value in the text box then you press cerca and select the first dump then input the new value and press cerca and select the second dump continue till it report a little number of adress or it continues to give the same amount of adresses

Dumped RAM

Read the PDF I have some knowledge of Hex editing from Halo 2 mods but still haven't figured out which decimals are cheats. I used Soccom US (for educational purposes ;D ) and made two diff. dumps used the .exe to find difference between dumps, just got out with a pass0 opened it but all seems random to me. I really wanted to find Inf. health or Ammo on Soccom. I gave up on it so I'll just wait until the database is updated. This does make me think, will CW Cheater be a prob. for Online Games? and hmmm since anyone can contribute cheats has any one submitted and when will the official database be updated? I love this app and BTw thnxX for the delay advice but I just started a new game and the new save works, I just make sure to apply the cheats in the Game's main menu then play. oh good job btw I like how u take ur time to view the comments and help everybody out.

two diff aren't enough to get some codes i had to do 20 diffs. you can just change the files and set what's the difference beetwen them it will check only precedent found locations. no problem for online gaming. I had already tought about this and i've added a lock if the wlan switch is up the cheats aren't applyed
