Serial CWCheat users rejoice, because weltall has just updated his CWCheat 0.1.6 for 3.03 OE to Rev. G which packs in a whole lotta changes and updates to his much-celebrated homebrew app for the PSP.With the inclusion of USB support in Rev. F, I think we can all agree that this app will only get better and better with more fixes and nifty updates in weltall's future releases. For CWCheat newbies, we strongly recommend you check out the readme file as well as the FAQ if you don't know diddly squat about this app.
As mentioned, Rev. G doesn't only sport new additions to the app, but also fixes on the problems some of guys have been experiencing (bugs, glitches, etc.). One of the cool things in Rev. G is that it now has a build which loads the database in a different area, so games which crashed on bootup (like SOCOM) should work just fine now. That said, here's the list of changes in Rev. G also known as the all-important...
Changelog:
- fixed the code type D1 there was a little bug [POPS]
- brightness reworked a bit now it should be more responsive [ALL]
- brightness is now saved and loaded from file 0 = disabled 1 = 25% 2 = 50% 3 = 75% 4 = 100% [ALL]
- fixed a little glitch in the id reading function which made cwcheat show om or rom when the executable was named PSX.EXE. Now PSXEXE is showed [POPS]
- added xploder code types 90, 70 and 00 [POPS]
- now it's possible to read gme memorycard (no save support ATM) press R to exchange gme<->mcr [POPS]
- added a build which loads codes from the kernel partition you can use that as a temporary fix for games which have problems with the volatile partition (like socom and nfs)[GAME]
- added back support for 302OE emulator memory cards now it's automatically detected if it's the 303OE emulator or the 302OE one
- prx for psp games is updated to latest functions [GAME]
- added 32bit search support for builds with GS/AR support: the output code will be a two line code [POPS]
- All was moved to ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/ so the dh folder isn't needed anymore [ALL]
- battery temperature is now showed [ALL]
- other things [ALL]

What buttons to activate the Cheats? Hold Start?? like Devhook??
it's a cheat device for psp with a lot of functions not cheating related. you can find more info on the head of the readme 303OE and on wikipedia
it was select. then go to select cheats enable the cheats you want the return to main menu and enable the entry just under select cheats and it's done. you can change the button to open the menu by going in the setting menu and then the change buttons finally save settings as default will save it as default
can I put any code any where or wut?

This thing never worked for me... the cheats that is... you turn them on and nothing... oh well... i guess i have to play the game without the cheatness...
okay the origional cwcheat works fine but the included file with usb support does not i tired all variations of files tried to different usb.prx (reg usb and usbhostfs) and nothing the menu does not show. so it must be a problem with the host prx (cwcheatpops-usb.prx) ummm maybe its me dont know ill jsut wait til next release.
will this work in 3.03 OE-B? because i tryed and it didnt work? if anyone knows please help me or if anyone knows a cheat device that is compatible with 3.03 OE-B please help because i need to CHEAT!!! PLEASE HELP thanks in advance
it works on 303OE. For those who can't cheat: i've discovered that the usbhostfs mod does crazy things it is most probably allocating something in user ram!! which is the baddest thing because it shift all adresses (other than the fact that some games might not load) making all the known cheats useless. p0stal_sean you need usb.prx and you must get it from your flash
and could not even find out how to cheat with it, i think you needed to make your own codes. all i could find was a way to change CPU speeds, also it made it so every time i started a game some text would show up in the upper left corner of the boot screen, and if it didin't press anything before the boot screen ended the system would crash. so i uninstaled it cuase i didin't find an easy way to set the CPU to 333Mhz worth the hassle of quick remembering i needed to press some buttons. but i think it's been long enough and il try it again
Does any know (or know where to find) any codes for Dragon Warrior VII? All I can find are the japanese version codes. =(
I want cheats for 007 - The World Is Not Anough Destruction Derby RAW IF some one could make some cheats for these and post it i would like it THANKS
