If u mean you want to use 4.00 or 4.01 pops, just ''use original from flash'' for 4.01 and maybe try the files in the existing popslader for 4.00.
As for Gran Turismo, why not play the second one?

Also... you didn't have a custom theme on your PSP when you installed this did you? I always had problems installing custom firmware before I started returning my PSP to default settings before upgrading. Just food for thought...

Anyone know how to fix this?

i know that you download sony offical firmware update 1.50, 3.52, and 3.90 firmware updates then extract them and renaming them PBP. The problem is i dont how to extract files. Also what PSP file do i put the custom firmware files in MP_ROOT , SAVEDATA , SYSTEM , or GAME? I almost forgot what psp file do i put the RAR file.
Pandor battery and homebrew were do i get downloads for that and were do i put them in my psp.
I think that is it add ULR if possible. and when i gt the memory card i updated to 4.10 update and cant find any down grader programs for the psp.

For the MMS (magic memory stick) you will need "14749_TOTALNewbi easyInstallerPa ndorasmenu". you do not simply drag and drop the zipped files onto your PSP, you must run the program on your computer, follow the simple steps, then then program formats your memory card and instals itself. after you have the MMS and the pandora battery, just put them into your psp, press O or X (forgot witch one) your done.
it doesnt matter what firmware version you currently have (i modded my frieds psp when he was running 4.01 OFW)
im sure you can find some tutorials on this web site.

I am still using the original firmware Sony put out.
I have v 3.95.
Every time I try to install this 1 or 3.95 M33 I get the message "The game could not be started. (80020148)"
Is there any1 that knows Y I am getting this message.
O and I did copy the original update to the root of the memory stick as 395.PBP for 3.95 M33 and as 401.PBP for this 1.
I would appreciate any help, thanks.

If U mean a MagicGate Memory Stick, I do have 1. I menchened that I copied the original update to the root of the memory stick.
I have a SanDisk 8GB MagicGate Memory Stick PRO Duo.

It starts like a game or original update would with it makeing the little ding sound and showing PSP on the screen, then go's to a black screen then come's up with the error.

A magic memory stick isn't one with MagicGate. It's specially formatted by the computer while you have the PSP on USB connection, and has special files loaded on it that are run when you insert a pandora's battery. I'd reccomend the totalNewbie Pandora installer. It installs 3.71 M33 when it's done, but that can be easily upgraded to any newer version, and this installer is by far the easiest one to use, IMHO (install DC4 to the memory stick.) However, this only works on Windows XP, and I haven't looked into doing it on Vista.
You still need the pandora's battery. Either get one from somebody who's already got Custom Firmware, or you may have to buy a tool battery from Datel for $20. Be forewarned - they take forever to ship, my friend who got one says.
