He has now updated his AutoDowngrade Generator to v1.01 and it will allow you to upgrade to 3.10 OE-A from 3.03 and below. AceOfFire says he's also added an option 0 that allows users to acquire files needed for upgrade to 3.10 OE-A.
Here are other notes from the developer:
^_^ This needs the update eboots, so find:
1.50 Eboot, rename to 150.pbp, move to CoreData
2.80 Eboot, rename to 280.pbp, move to CoreData
3.03 Eboot, rename to 303.pbp, move to CoreData
3.10 Eboot, rename to 310.pbp, move to CoreData
One more thing, if your just downloading my file to update, you can create two fake files and call em 280.pbp and 303.pbp, and the continue like normal to speed up download time. My package is more like a tool to help others.
Just make sure you dig into the readme for more specifics on this app such as installation and usage instructions.

TheAceOfFire released a rather newbie-friendly new application based on the downgrader made by Noobz. It's called AutoDowngrade Generator v1.0 and it's meant to take care of the downgrading process for you, along with teaching you how to use the app itself in the process.TheAceOfFire recommends that you have 75% battery life, or are plugged in. He also has two versions: the complete version, which is 56 MB, and a smaller version for those who already have specific Eboot updates. We've got them linked below. Just rename to [firmware number].pbp and transfer them to CoreData.
Best of all, he's got a running tutorial during the whole process of using the app. It includes instructions on figuring out what motherboard type you have. Just remember to check the readme before you try this, so you know what you're getting into. Enjoy it, and good luck!
What it does:
- Detects if you put the 150.pbp, 280.pbp, 303.pbp in the wrong place
- Quits if you are missing one of the above
- You tell it what firmware you have, program changes based on that.
- It will tell you if you need to upgrade, and provide files to do so.
- Shows a picture of a TA~XX psp and the unpatched GTA for convenience.
- It will give you files to downgrade to 1.50
- Gives a mini tutorial, based on the firmware you are on
- It gives you the choice to upgrade to 3.03 OEC by Dark_AleX
- If you do choose to go to 3.03 OEC, it gives another mini tutorial
- Warns people who are above 3.03 Not to downgrade until we get there

are you kidding me. read the post if you are above 3.03 you can't use this downgrader. god. but, all of this isn't really gonna matter soon. my brother is a programmer (psp devision) at sony, and he told me that the next firmware is going to bring some very bright suprises for homebrew lovers, and might just put people like Booster, Fanjita, and Dark_AleX out of the job.

That's good for newbies if they want to use homebrew, but honestly most in my country want to use isos :/. Advanced users who read QJ or know something about PSP scene won't be needing that as they already have 3.03 OE-C or other OE Custom firmware. It's good for me too cause people keep asking me if it is possible to downgrade.

You still need GTA, there are no other currently known exploits. I don't recall any part of this article saying otherwise.

Yeah, sorry. My program uses the existing downgraders, and makes packages and tutorials for you based on what firmware you are on currently. Its like having someone walk you through it.

i cant find a gta lcs also they need a downgrader without using the lcs umd so in other words some one needs to find an exploit that alows the user to load gta without the umd on versions above normal homebrew versions

The percentage of us with access to an unpatched copy of GTA: LCS appears to be pretty small. I'm honestly happy for all of you who have homebrew -- but devs: PLEASE don't forget those of us who haven't been able to take advantage of Noobz breakthrough. The world is still as homebrew-less for me as it was the day before this downgrader was released. I know, boo-hoo... you would too if you were in our shoes!!

hey i'm on 2.71, and Ive been playing it safe by just running HEN C and executing the homebrew on that. But I am kinda tempted now with all the homebrew excitement lately, But im a little wuss and dont want to risk Brickin a PSP again. what do you reccomend? or what would be the safest way to downgrade so that it would ensure that I would not Brick it like last time? Because that was a terrible feeling.

yes. upgrade to 3.03 and find an unpatched version of grand theft auto liberty city stories game. it is unpatched if on it there is an updates to 2.00. once you get there run 303 hen and downgrader. for 3.03
What's the point of the motherboard check, I thought the new downgrader worked on all motherboards. Doesn't it?
The motherboard check is for people below 2.81 Everyone below there gets upgraded to 2.80, and then gets the 2.80 downgrader (Which will not auto check the motherboard). Thats why I added in the pic for them.

The closest they'll ever come to enabling homebrew is when they stop supporting the PSP and stop releasing their useless firmwares.

I hav done anything like it stands in the autoupdater, but when the psp flashed and restarts its getting dark and i only hear the sound!!!! My question is it bricked?? I go to bed and cry if it is!!

It seems I need to do a lot of things in order to try out the psp playing ps1 games but I need to downgrade first in order to do that. So I have to find a way to downgrade but I am not into going to the beginning of the forums and finding out from the beginning. I had a freind reboot his psp. it just reset all the default settings and took him back to v1.5 normal. Can someone tell me how to do this?
