Fanjita has released an "alternative" version of his (and Ditlew's) eLoader for users who have experienced problems with Bock on 2.0 and other firmwares. This version replaces the new menu caching code that was placed into Bock with the old menu system from the previous eLoader versions. This version does not affect the compatibility at all and is recommended for the following people:
  • You just don't like or are confused by the caching
  • You have problems running Bock on v2.0 PSPs
  • You find that the scanning times are longer with the original Bock release
If you need any help, please read the eLoader forums and ask a question if deemed necessary

I think that it would have been better if they had just put a on or off function for the caching in one program. If you release 2 programs each time just for caching and none caching sounds kinda strange to me, but then again, im no programmer

If you want to fix the original "Bork" or even this version, download the v0.96 redistributable and rename the file /psp/eloader/loadmenu096.pbp to loadmenu097.pbp and send to your psp in the same location (/psp/eloader/loadmenu097.pbp). Hit rewrite.

i believe fanjita and Ditlew could make a downgrader but they want to keep there 2.6 owners on end. if you thought about it, if fanjita and Ditlew put a downgrader out there they wouldnt have 2.0+ psp to mess with, meaning no fun for fanjita and Ditlew, so much for a downgrader for 2.0+ psps.
