Alternative 333mhz Fix Using Harleyg's Custom FW Patch |
Ó

But before proceeding with the instructions, make sure that you have Harleyg's Custom Firmware Patch v0.2, as it is an essential part of this trick. Much thanks to ando2k6 for the tip!
Intructions:
- Cold boot your psp then flick the hold button down to go to recovery menu
- In recovery menu go to change clockspeed select 333
- Select back then click exit (should take you back to 1.5)
- Start devhook go to CPU clock select 333mhz then start it without UMD in drive
- Once loaded try your web browser it should work
- Then reboot psp fully (coldboot) select devhook again now select cpu clock select no change then start devhook
- Now have a fully overclocked psp with wifi working
- To prove it works press home and select to change cpu speed should change to 133 so it was stuck at 333 to change it back repeat the process

Why do you want to do all those steps while the only thing you have to do is press home+select ?
cool much faster
The internet still doesnt work in 333mhz mode
is this within devhook say in 2.71 caus that would be fantastic
Oh the agony, not being able to run my webbrowser on 333 Mhz! What shear faith has belittled me to believe that mankind should try to fix this abomination of a problem. The loss of this benefit has beraved me of splender and fast webbrowsing!
I'm a noob but I got 333 on 2.71 yeeeeaaaaars ago - this place stinks!
i cant get it to work
it says A connection error has occured (8OD41OD17)wtf does that mean?
nocomment
cause i wanna play socom online on 333MHz
i followed it step by step but still doesnt work
it wont work for me either i get that wierd code anyone get this to work????
i dont know how to do this its bugging me though
This almost seems like a waste of time. I have no problems loading devhook at 222mhz and then using HOME+SELECT to change it to 333mhz. Everything works fine when I do it that way, even WiFi.
i cant do that while in a UMD(on socom)
video shows it working bad quality though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhCYfY8uM1c
ive been tryin this all day and it wont work
Oooo... O_o pretty red psp!!! me likiee likiee!!!
didn't work with 0.46 devhook.
@18- it's orange. The red faceplate is MUCH more red.
Same faceplate I have looove it!!!!!!!! patch is ok too
works with everything, just some games will freze a good example is FIGHT NIGHT ROUND 3.
Just follow my guide to get wifi working at 333mhz without the need of a custom firmware or IR Shell: http://forums.psphacks.net/index.php/topic,17870.msg183308.html#msg183308
