The CANVAS-powered PSP title Valkyria Chronicles 3 has been out in Japan for over half a year now, but it looks like Sega isn't done with it just yet. Gaming news blog Siliconera reports that a new listing for Valkyria Chronicles 3 Extra Edition has been spotted on Japanese retailer Game Star's database.
The new software bundle will reportedly come with three new episodes and four pieces of downloadable content selected by the Valkyria Chronicles 3 development team. The listing suggests that Sega will release it as a budget title for 3,990 yen on November 23rd in Japan.
While the first two games in the series have successfully been localized for the western markets (the original Valkyria Chronicles on PS3 and Valkyria Chronicles 2 on PSP), Valkyria Chronicles 3 remains Japan-only as of now. If Sega ever decides to bring it outside Japan, then this variant would be a good choice.
