Rising Star Games, the publisher who brought games like No More Heroes and a whole load of Harvest Moon titles to PAL territories, has announced that it will be adding one more PSP role playing game to its release list.
The company revealed today that it will be publishing the Vanillaware-develped PSP title, Grand Knights History, in PAL territories sometime during the first quarter of next year. The game will be available both in downloadable and in physical UMD form.
Rising Star had previously published Vanillaware's last game, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, so there's a bit of a history between the two companies. XSEED will be handling publishing duties for North America.
"Vanillaware represents everything good about Japanese games development," said the publisher's managing director, Martin Defries, "and I am delighted that Rising Star Games is once again associated with such an esteemed team. We are extremely excited to combine our expertise with such talent on another release in Europe."
Grand Knights History takes place in the war-torn land of Listia. Players can choose to ally themselves with one of three factions, then progress through offline questing and intense 30-hour online skirmishes, all making use of deep, strategic RPG combat and expansive customization. The game makes use of the PlayStation netowkr for its online component.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade for Wii, had gorgeous hand-drawn visuals, so it's no suprise the Grand Knights History does as well. The game got a pretty high score in Famitsu when it came out in Japan at the start of September, so it should make for a worthy addition to the libraries of RPG fans.
