Rumor: PSP firmware 6.0 coming tomorrow, changelog revealed |

The latest PSP firmware 6.0 is coming tomorrow, that's according to a very reliable source of PS3-Sense.nl. And to prove that it's real, the source has released the official changelog of the firmware update. If you may recall just days ago, Allison Walter of NIS America accidentally announced via the EU PlayStaion Blog that a new PSP firmware is indeed coming before September 10. Check out the changes after the break.
PSP firmware 6.00 changelog:
- Playstation Store Games can now be grouped and displayed in folders based on their expire date under [GAME]
- Importing of playlist from the Media GO! applications is now supported under Music
- Under [Settings] - [Network Update] has been chnaged to [System Update]
- The number of Colors that can be selected under [Settings] > [Theme Settings] has been increased
- In [Display Panel Close Options] under [Settings] > [System Settings], the design for the [Standard] oprion has been changed
- The PSP Go! system can now connect to the Internet via a Bluetooth modem such as a mobile phone

this is very interesting
still all psps should have mobile broadband by now, although i think the majority of people are waiting for the next generation of mobile interent (wifi max)
but then again most people have phones, and soon the majority will be 3g enabled
although im sure mini devs are pissed they cant make use of this

Sony doesn't add that damn exclamation mark after the PSPgo, and *especially* after Media Go. And I'm sure they can spell "changed" correctly. Sony's not stupid.

Not much to get excited about, but having Folders in the Games tab would be a very, very welcome addition. I have too goddamned many demos and downloads on my PSP and it takes so long to browse them (and stupidly, the name doesn't come up until the image is loaded) that sometimes I forget about games I paid for because they've gotten buried. Bring on the folders, please.

Only time will tell :) A lot of rumors these days seem to end up true.
im almost certain that those 2nd last "feature" is for the psp go because of the "closing of the display panel."
i hope those new colours include a darker black....

If this really is the changelog, it's definitely not enough to merit the .00 at the end (just because it's a Go firmware).

Sounds completely useless to me aside from the number 6 possibly motivating someone to make a CFW with the new PRX keys.
