There are some problems with the keyboards, mp3 visuals and the time/date/battery display which keeps flickering back and forth. Sslust is a pretty decent guy who apparently works at scee so I'd trust him.

lets face it, Sony isn't very careful with patching holes in their firmware. how many firmwares now can use the supposedly "patched" .tiff exploit? If you want to get technical every bit of homebrew is illegal since you are hacking the PSP to do things it was not meant to do and Sony doesn't want you to do with it. But it is still fun to do. That aside I never really played but a few PS1 games and I am not about to pay more money for games I already have. Lastly I think you all are reading a little too much into this, its most likely a bug to fix some random crash or lock upand can't be used as an exploit.

The firmware was just released.. That sort of information wont be released for a while. Gotta have time to hack these things. Im waiting for someone to just extract, decrypt and remake the PS1 emu, so 1.5 users can use it.

I missed the dreamcast when it died, but honestly, psp has such a small handful of truly spectacular games like the dc did. theres very little loss for me and most others who get frustrated after paying 40 to 50 for a horrible game. isos are helping sony at least sell other ***** like 4 gig pro duos. isos dont hurt sony, bad games and customer rapport does. the day that sony stops *****cing with their customers is the day ill respect them. *they gave us homebrew and tried to steal it back, unsuccessfully. the customer is always right and they just did us wrong *promised us gran turismo 4 portable for summer 06, cant find that iso, huh? *killed lik-sang *ps3 connectivity lie *and ps1 emulation was announced b4 launch and here we are a year later and its just coming out. mite as well goto a gamestop, get a psx for 20 bucks or so and games for $2-3 off ebay. youll prawly have to throw away more money on memory sticks to fit that ***** anyway. reason enough to d/l isos for me. cause f*uck em, thats why. waste ur money on crappy games instead of complaining about how other people dont, not gonna hurt my feelings
