ONWED 1st
weres the screen?
Theres allot of mod chips now lol, thought there was only 1 haha.
Crazy People , PSP still work´s ????
I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!
can i try
Much respect goes to these guys for trying so hard. And holy moly it ain't pretty lol.
Nems and Booster(and friends) look best lol, so these all do basically as the UP modchip supposedly does?
Next time avoid using a butane soldering iron. Warping chips is never a good thing.
are these for real?? as there isn't a psp in the picture,
first 1 looks like all the wires are touching,
2nd one looks pretty tidy tho,
3rd one requires you to lug a pc round with you,
and the last one just looks like some wires and a lot of sellotape strapped to a circuit board,
Thats some skill involved its hard enough soldering PS2's and etc let along PSP's
aint lettin these guys even LOOK at my PSP!
Nem was the one who started it all.
Ookm has been doing this firmware thing for months, deffo real, loads of pics, loads of screenies of various diff. firmware version PSPs with 'new' chips, plenty of discussion check out mph's website for more details :)
Nems looks worst of the lot, tip: don't mod PSPs in the middle of a bout of influenza if u want to avoid goo on ur PSP.
that ***** looks really good, well the first one does. Id put that in my psp
NUmber 11. STFU. i dont see yours up there pussass
What's the dif between this and the modchip that is out. E-mail me at Madblaster6@aol .com
These guys indeed have skills. And they keeping the PSP homebrew scene updated with photos and such. Hopefully they come in competition with the UP mod chip.
Am I the only one grabbed their psp when they saw these photos. Kinda like seeing a dead dog and looking to see if your dog was ok haha. Scary stuff but definatly worth the work. Good job guys.
is there anyone who has figured out the soldering points to connect a ps2 controller? obviously it's possible since the psp2tv adapter adds dual shock support, but i haven't heard any mentions of it other than that
:(
D /-\ M N.... Now dat's hot, bringin' some competition to da game. Maybe the Undiluted Platinum will have a drop in price VERY soon to keep up with the competition...
is it me or does no.2 done by ryoko_no_usagi look a lot like the UP chip shown in the diagrams for installation, or somewhat like a chunk of the USA?
yea disregard that last post cause i just now noticed that it is only a psp motherboard not the UP chip
its amazing, hauhuahhuaa really cool ...
Someone jizzed on the 3rd prototype modchip.
these are the best devs! I luff Ookm's one, that one looks nice and clean and small.
PLEASE POST TUTORIALS!!! and a list of supplies and where to get them, thx
It's like a who's who of PSP hackers!
hahaha this is awesome! i mite end up letting them mod my psp instead of the up! and I really hope the chip drop in price! cmon, thats just way too much lol, but i guess they do deserve it, since they works so hard, and hey, the cheaper the modchips are, the more ppl gets it...
Can you play isos with that???
damn those guys are good

Alot of you people have no idea of the art of soldering.
for those of us that might be able to duplicate the process of making one of these, please post instructions.
RaiderX has the right idea
-DarkPacman77-
Yes, I'm with DarkPacman77... someone ought to start a site for building these mods and eventually post schematics on how they accomplished it. To be able to create your own mod would bring on a greater sense of accomplishment then just purchasing a pre-done kit - in my honest oppinion.
If that unit works, it is quite a accomplishment.
Even with instructions you must be very good at electronics to duplicate that.
As I said, if that works.. congratulations . Very clever.
sweet \"
if u are that good at electronics why wont they build a new and even better handheld system with a 40 gigabyte hard drive and satilite enternet with the newest versions of shockwave flash and all of those other good computer softwares
wish the modship surported TA-082 come out early
Sooo... where does the P for PORTABLE in PSP stand...?
