Fanjita and Noobz release FW 3.11 HEN/Downgrader |

Fanjita (yes, Fanjita; we'll explain in a bit) and Noobz have just released a Homebrew Enabler (HEN) and downgrader for PSP FW 3.11. This will allow you to run homebrew and downgraders on FW 3.11 by using the US or European version of Lumines. Of course, this is if you're still trapped by FW v3.11.Anyways, the team thanks Dark AleX because this certain release is based off of the source code for his HEN 2.71. Instructions and other relevant notes about running homebrew are found in the README. Additional notes:
This release consists of HEN for v3.11, plus a v3.11 downgrader, and an idstorage key fixer for v3.11. This allows you the choice of either:
- staying on v3.11 to run homebrew
- downgrading to v1.50 to run homebrew or install custom firmwares, or
- upgrading to official Sony firmwares v3.30 or beyond.
Yeah. [I'm just] tidying up loose ends. This was promised ages ago.
So there you have it. Fanjita is retired, ok? He's just being kind to fulfill promises that he's made before. Glad to know! Never make a promise you can't keep, right? We're not sure though if this is the last of his "tidying up loose ends" releases. Maybe it's the first of a couple more "last minutes" before he finally assumes his fatherly role. If anything, this release might not be anything major, however, this is a friendly sign of Fanjita's continued commitment right down to the very end.

This is great, I would have tried pandora's battery, but no one around me has a hacked PSP. Good thing I hung onto my copy of Lumines cause this worked for me, and now I can finally play new games again! Thanks Noobz!
use firefox with adblock plus... both are free and you dont see any ads... what more can you ask for.

it's even better than adblock. No Splash, no ads, hence you can even block videos if you want.

those people can just upgrade to official firmware 3.40 or 3.50 and then downgrade the same way ?

Yeah same here and i read a lot about the PSPS ins and out but not to sure either what it means by people stuck on this firmware.But still Fanjita & NooBz still a great job.Im still trying to get my umd to work and ps3 to read psp from usb to set up connection in devices.As the batery brought back to life a totaly dead white TA-082 mobo psp.Not sure of its history a guy who owns a second hand goods shop gave me it for downgradeing another psp for him.Not totally bothered as i can still play my old backted up iso and homebrew .But would be nice if some one knew the answer to these problems as its been quiet coomen for the ta-082s to do this.
