CFW 3.52 M33 here to the rescue

Team M33 does service to the homebrew scene once more as it just released a new build for its custom firmware, completely cracking Sony's official PSP FW 3.52. Aside from the improvements that come with CFW 3.52 M33, all features from previous releases have been incorporated as well.

We know you just can't wait to see the latest development for yourselves but before you do, here's the complete changelog for the new custom firmware:

Now uses 3.52!!!
M33 NO-UMD: fixed problem with Simple 2500 Series Portable, The IQ Cube
Fix a bug which made Go!Cam, GPS and sceKernelLoadExecVSH* not work in game mode.
PSN downloaded PSX games support wasn't working in 3.51 M33 (didn't work in latest OE's either). Now it is working again. If an original PSN game still doesn't work, we recommend to delete files KEYS.BIN if exists, and copy the game again from PS3 to PSP.

Please take note that CFW 3.52 M33 comes with a Readme file. We don't have to reiterate how important for you guys to read that first before installing this on your PlayStation Portable units.

A lot of QJ.NET loyal readers sent us tip regarding this one. And by saying a lot, we really mean a lot. Thanks for the heads up everyone!

I am still going to stay at 3.40 OE-A. I do not need to update because I can do everything I want to on it and I do not have any 3.50 UMD's so I am happy. I also want to see if Dark_Alex might come back. He is the only one I really trust.

Since I updated to M33 CFWs, all text input on my PSP doesnt work. I cant enter a web url, rename my system, enter info for a wifi connection, or anything that requires text input, it locks up and resets.

Everything else is perfect, and this version _does_not_ fix this problem.

This is a good firmware. I've changed my mind about Team M33. This is a stable release and everything works. I even flashed in a custom font and background and sounds.... Pretty much you can do all customizations other than that require editing PRXs.

PSX compatibility is increased and also FINALLY my Brightness Problems because of corrupted keys are now FIXED =)

Don't know if this is a bug, but it appears that after the firmware upgrade I'm unable to run any of my ISOs and CSOs anymore. When I accessed them, it just locks up into a black screen. Would someone please advice? I've not changed any setting since the upgrade and everything works fine back when I was using 3.51 M33-7. I've tried downgrading but to no avail. Please help!

I just updated to this FW, and I was playing FF7 when suddenly graphics looked awful and corrupt... I went back to 3.40 OE-A, played FF7 again and it was ok. For me this fw didn't work totally good, other features in this fw were ok.

They didn't fix the FF7 green static thingy! I was just playing it and after the battle is done the whole area gets messed up! It's not entirely fixed. And some of my iso's that worked with DAX's CFW don't work with this one.

to metalspector and zetsurin: Just cause it runs isos, doesn't mean everyone uses it to play illegal isos. I certainly buy my games, gives the game developers a reason to keep going, and running em in no-umd mode makes it so I can save battery life while getting fast load times.

seen a few others posted this problem.

1. connect the psp to your pc/laptop via the usb cable.

2. enter the recovery mode on the psp.

3. enter advanced.

4. select "Toggle USB (flash1)".

5. on your pc/laptop, open "my computer" and open the psp's mem card.

6. look in the folders for the file "config.se", then delete it.

7. on the psp, select back, then exit

this seemed to be a problem in 3.40 OE-A. found this help on pspcrazy

do you have popsloader turned on? If it is, disable it and it should work. Popsloader doesnt work with this, which is one reason i went back to 3.40oe-a.

Lol M33 is indeed fast. But DAX was fast too. I don't see the nice features of M33 now. Dax implemented them like 4th brightness mode etc etc. I want to see gimmicks on CFW's not stealing of DAX's code and implementing new FW's.

I had this working just fine until today. I tried to install that Joysens 1.01 for my analog stick and now when I go to a iso file (That worked yesterday just fine) and click on it my screen goes black. I can't hit the home button to get out of it i have to force quit out to get back to the main menu. I was about to use the recovery and go back to 1.50 and reinstall it. anyone else have this black screen when you try to use a iso.
