CFW 3.40* LE v3 by Team Wildcard |

Well, that was quick. Shortly after dropping by the QJ.NET Forums to announce the release of their 3.40* LE PSP Custom Firmware v2, Team Wildcard passed by again to announce the release of the CFW's version 3.This latest release fixes a previously reported glitch that kept the CFW's power saving options from working properly. Version 3 also carries over all of the previously mentioned fixes from version 2.
Users are reminded that this CFW will run from either 3.40* LE or 3.40* v2 only. If your PSP's running on 3.40* LE, you can upgrade to v3 straight away without having to load v2. As a last reminder, if your PSP's not starting after you install, go into Recovery mode and disable all of your plugins.
In case you do encounter any other bugs, feel free to drop by Wildcard's thread over at our QJ.NET Forums. Your reports are greatly appreciated. Kudos to Team Wildcard for keeping their custom firmware constantly updated. We're sure the community appreciates the effort!

but not that many. 3.52 m33-2 doesn't even let me run wifi homebrew. m33 ISO LOADER + 3.40 OE = ONLY FIRMWARE YOU NEED.
It's good to see new updates for a firmware, i dont know why people are complain..... It's fixing stuff. LE is getting there, i will stick with 3.40 OE for now. I will probably change over to this around v5 or so

im still at 3.40 oe-a dont really wana go to m33 firmware. So i will probably go to WILD CARDS firmware. im at 3.40oe-a do u have to go bak to 1.50 then upgrade from there ?

No one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to upgrade. You should be glad there is any custom firmware at all after Dax left. Seems to me that you do not realise how lucky you are. As they say ''you don't know what you have got until it has gone'' Now on to the real reason for my post. Team Wildcard have opened up an official forum. I encourage anyone who supports them to visit here and register http://lan.st/forumdisplay.php?f=99 They have shown themselves to answer queries very quickly. From what I have seen so far I can confirm that they are working on a 3.52 that will include the np9660 NO UMD and possibly OGG support integrated into the XMB. Once they have everything that M33 has this will become much more interesting.
im gonna leave it for a while and stick to 3.40oe-a till i can work out who is the VHS and who is the BetaMax in this situation, liked the look of wildcard though.
They say they made this from the same source code of 3.40OE yet I didn't see DAX continously releasing updates due to bugs :\

I agree Kookie, All the dev teams making custom firmware for everone are great in my book, one may have more bugs than the other, or different bugs than the other, but I like having the choice between 2 really nice options. I have used both 3.52 m33-2 and 3.40* v3 to test out my homebrew. Results were the same, I have yet to try wifi homebrew apps though. EITHER WAY, THANK YOU TEAM M33 AND TEAM WILDC*RD! YOU BOTH HAVE MY SUPPORT!
i still dont get why another CFW 3.40 is out when theres already a CFW 3.52 so why would i downgrade to this??? or sidestep in my case as im already on 3.40 oe?????? with no problems!!!! can someone explain???

No. I must talk about a firmware I have no interest in. Just like when M33 was released I think that free firmware should be held to the highest standards. And when they are not we must verbate heavily. Dont release a firmware unless it is ready. WAA WAAAA

1st off, this wast's even supposed to be released, but it was leaked so they thought they should release it anyway... Team Wildcard was going to wait till 3.52* was ready b/f a release Coward, thanx for the site. I'm glad that for all the dumbasses here there are some people like u who use their brain :)
For any of you who have programmed before, you know that no program can ever be bug free, I'm glad to see so many updates coming out frequently. The first 2-3 updates from m33 were bug fixes from DAX firmware, all the latter updates are new features. I'm sure we are to expect the same from this group, give them a few more chances to fix the bugs they have found. I'm sure WC will have a great firmware when their 3.52 version is released. I hope to see many frequent (if needed) updates to both of these great firmwares, at the moment m33 seems to be more stable, but give WC some time and we will have 2 great custom firmwares to choose from. Hopefully we will see some great new features with these 2 groups in competition.

it was REVERSE ENGINEERED from 3.40 OE. it wasn't the SOURCE CODE of 3.40 OE. and it's IMPROVED. the IMPROVEMENTS have bugs. they're being WORKED OUT. eat me.
