2.70 Japanese System Software Update Details |

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has announced the version 2.70 system software update for Japanese PSP (Model PSP-1000). This update is slated for 14:00, April 25, GMT+9:00 (1:00AM, April 25, EDT). Here are the details of this update:

- [Internet Browser] now supports Macromedia Flash contents playback.
*You need to enable the Flash contents playback in the [System Settings].
*The version of the flash player is Macromedia Flash Player 6 (a part of the functions is not supported). - The settings of the [Internet Browser] is added into [Settings] -> [Connection Settings]
- The audio contents from channels in the [RSS Channel] section now can be saved into your memory stick.
- [Auto] option added to [Rate Change] in [Location Free Player].
*More about the Location Free base station can be found [here].
[Music]
- Added file extension to playable AAC format.
[Settings]
- Added [Enable Flash Player] in [System Settings].
*To change this option, you need to connect to the internet. - "Simplified Chinese" and "Traditional Chinese" added to [System Settings] -> [System Language].
- Added [RSS Channel Settings].
- Added [UMD Video L & R Button] into [Video Settings].
- Fixed some issues when using a memory stick with more than 2GB free space.
*This problem has not happened among the memory sticks sold in Japan until April 24.

I am so not upgrading, I am going to be uber this time. I stay at 2.6.
I own a 1.5 PSP, but I hope a new Exploit or possibility for full homebrew support will be found in version 2.7. Maybe also with downgradepossibility!!! Not for playing copies, but everyone should have the fun with full homebrew support and enjoy all the cool programs. Thanks to all coders that make cool homebrew!!! But this time it seems the update brings also some cool new features (flash) and is not only a security update with some small "bonus-features". People, enjoy the update or enjoy staying with 1.5 or 2.0 :-)

The only way the gta exploit can be blocked is if Rockstar recalls your game and sends you back an updated virsion, and I don't think they'll be doing that any time soon!
Well, I've got my black 1.50 PSP and my white 2.60 PSP. I can both upgrade and keep homebrew! w00t!

I'm wondering, that Sony don't say Rockstar that they have to make such an update without exploit. Sony is sick!!! I think many people buy GTA only to play homebrew :-) But maybe have Fanjita and Ditlew to make some changes that the GTA exploit also works on 2.7 because of changed syscalls...
Is it just me or is flash 6 really old and *****ty. I bet only movies work too. What about running flash games from the memory stick. Like save it as a webpage?
Thats not true, Sony can block certain things in their firmware since each UMD game has their own little signiature thingymabob in the disc. It would recognise the game and patch up a hole that bounces back the exploit not modifying the game itself or anything.
The text says 2.70 will be released on Apr. 25, now if you download with that link, it's still 2.60.
The only reason i Upgraded to 2.6 was because it allowed WMA playback, considering over 75% of my collection is in this format it was worthy to update the PSP for, but for this, nothing is there that i want, no reason for me to upgrade.
Mmmm flash support and i REALLY ... REALLY hope the Browser is well... alot FASTER aswell and i hope they managed to tweak the webpage memory... but yeh drool...2.7 is a wayyyy cooler looking number than 2.6 :P
1. all things in updates have homebrew alternatives that are better. 2. we can enjoy homebrew games and apps on our 1.5 - 2.6. DON'T UPGRADE!!! There is already a SWF player and it worked on my 2.5 :D

I hope there are some PSP websites made now with flash games on. The only trouble i forsee is mapping the PSP button presses so that the flash player recognises them. It'll be a shame that we probably wont be able to play most flash games that are already out on the WWW.

IF (I know it's a very big IF) the GTA Cheatdevice can be made to work on 2.7 perhaps a new feature could be added. The option to output the Video Recorder to and swf file. It might be a way to get around the 10 video limit in the web browser. (Anyone who follows the CheatDevice will hopefulyl know what I'm trying to say - lol)

i'm in aus.....wen i do network update it comes up with version 2.7 also this version has new syscalls coz i emailed sony n they already replied....they sed aus will have 2.7 in the nxt week with new syscalls as savegame security

I don't care about this lame GTA exploit. It is lame, relies on having a specific UMD, there is no kernel access, you have to wait for the save game to load, many homebrew will never work and it will never be as stable as a 2.0 or 1.5. If I only had access to any of the higher firmware Psp's only I would do what I could to sell it and get a new 1.5 from Ebay or one of those online stores. Firmware 2.7 is just designed to block the GTA exploit to eradicate all possibilities of homebrew forever. I think anyone thinking of updating should do so because if they are stupid enough to do it that is one less moron clogging up the forums asking for 2.6 downgraders.

Unless there is unrestricted kernal access, with the full ability to downgrade. YAWN its another yawn update... I belive flash will be the most exploitable point, but i also assume sony would have created what they call a "limited" access. In reality, u could start making "flash homebrew" and piss off all the 1.50 users lol. What i want is to try emulate 2.70 but i doubt its gunna happen! W/e

errr is it me or does having the ability to view movies on your psp via internet websites a really good thing,a good enough reason to upgrade but then again this is coming from someone who sold gta and can no longer participate in the homebrew community...anyway like the guy said above,is it possible to look at movies from you tube and google video etc ??? if so you guys should be happy as hell

i think you should be able to look at newgrounds, google and youtube because they use flash. Unless they are too big for the cache you shuld be able to watch them, but I am not shure.

I didn't even upgrade this one. I just got skrood because I got a PSP before I even knew it could do homebrew... so of course the one I got was a 2.00... Lets all at least show some respect to Fanjits and Ditlew by waiting for their go-ahead... it's bad enough they have to fix this thing for us all the time, lets not give them more work... and if you do upgrade and the GTA exploit doesn't work, *don't* give the grief. Think about it flash requires so many updates how it is going to handle that? How is the PSP going to support the controls? I no it sounds like the greatest think to happen to a PSP but as with the Internet browser you find yourself getting very tired within a week and then just going back to your PC. I just think that all the people who are getting very excited should step back wait until we no whats what and then upgrade if its anygood. 2.7 might not support homebrew, What good is a PSP without homebrew you might as just carry a laptop around if you want Flash support. Hopefully Sony can pull it off and surprize everybody but sadly I dont think thats going to be the case here. Roll on the next upgrade

Those people who have said they would upgrade there 1.5 when 2.7 come out are a bit odd. Anyways i would like to trade my 2.5 psp with 2gig, 3 games and accessories. I've had my PSP since day 1. I have also, other than 1.51, applied every update since realease in the Japanase version. There is zero difference from what they release to them as to what they release to us. If anything is wrong at all with this release they will put 2.71 out to the US. You can even call Sony and talk to them and they will tell you it is the same damn thing. They just put the notice out there becuase it is mean for Japan (my guess is to hold off on globabl release until any issues have had a chance to be discovered). Don't fear the Japanese updates. Man, everyone used to know this here. Has it been that long since the last update?

i choose not to upgrade just yet. not intil sony release's a ps1 emulator. and even when it comes out if it isnt what i want i wont upgrade. who cares flash sucks. only way i will ever consider using flash is if there a is app for 1.5 that allows it. and for those who are saying the new games that u cant play on 1.5 are wrong. if u havent noticed most games work on 1.5 . except for smackdown vs raw (slow loading times*, and splinter cell. i dont think any other games dont work yet...... for me i only use the psp for videos and music and some homebrew games and app's.
of course they're going to block homebrew!!! they always do!! thats what they did when they went to 1.5, then someone found a way round it, then they blocked it again at 2.0 then came the tif exploit, then they blocked that at 2.01 etc etc, it just gets harder and harder to bypass sony security

i don't know what would happen if i updated my US PSP 1001 with a japanese update 2.70, but i will say i've done it with a japanese 2.0 update. i wasnt able to set my wireless router information, no wifi for me then. honestly, no joke! you really should.... Iv'e got a model psp-1000 from japan almost two years old now :D but sony can suck my balls this is the worst way to win people back from not hacking and homebrew, they think all this new stuff ( not that they added much since the 3.00 news going around you think they would have dealt up something matching the fabled 3.00 features) i wont be upgrading my psp-1000 untill there is a working hack like on a\ll existing firmwares and there will not be one for a while as there still coding away for 2.6+ and bellow and thats not fully done yet, so i dont expect a hack for this new firmware untill well next year now because no one that wants homebrew now will upgrade because WERE not stupid SONY ! you hear US, and its not as if they can amke all there games not work on their consoles if we dont upgrade, coz that would just be the end of sony forever! SO Stick with 1.50 up to 2.6+ Show sony that its the consumers that decide whats a good product not pen pushers in there posh head offices in JAP !

Why should I upgrade, pretty much every game out is pretty damn lame(most games aint even worth a D/L not to mention 50bucks). Daxter is the best game for PSP but yet the game is very short. All my hidden feeling for Nintendo are coming back. Seems that the best portable console and the best games are Nintendo now. I love Sony like but im finding the PSP so dissapointing. Flash 6 will not run google video OR youtube. Nor will it run on newgrounds. They all require flash 7/8. Flash 6 isn't even fully supported in this update. It specifically says some calls are not implemented. Don't get your hopes up. Those 'unimplemented calls' could very well be mp3 audio, action scripts, etc. Not to mention that the PSP only has 16MB of ram max when the web browser is open. In other words, you will not be able to watch flash videos on your psp with this update. Or possibly with any update...

2.7 is out!!!... friggin idiots i just tried to download it on my psp (which is american) because that is what i did for 2.0. i went to the japanese site and followwed the words in english to the 2.7. when i put it on my psp it said update for 2.6. i tried to install it but ofcoarse with my 2.6 psp it didn't work. For people waiting for a downgrader from their 2.+ you'll have to wait 'till ver 3.0 - three is a magic number! I think 3.0 will release around the time of PS3. It would make sense 'cos PS-3, and ver 3.0 so we have psp(3).

You people can't go whatch youtube because youtube uses flash ONLY for the player they still need to stream the movie to you so no you cant whatch any thing like that remember its ONLY FLASH no streaming capabilities if you want that then stay with 1.5 and use the Pimpstreamer and if you want to stream other things then use the rss feed not anon, im kevin Plus even if you can stream the movies on youtube, the psps cache would be full and crash you psp or something.. who wants to argue with that eh?

Why are they updating the psp with an old version of flash i really dont get sony. They try to persuade people to upgrade to get old features flash 6 does not work on most sites requiring flash. People that are encouraging to update are probably just one person. Some idiot thinks that since he upgraded his to 2.6 that everyone should suffer the same. Though, I could be wrong. I suggest not updating until there is a way to access homebrew or downgrade. Honsetly, 2.6 isnt really that bad. Well PspXmag writer Jordon Fouche here Well Please be advised this feedback is coming froma 14 year old PSPXMAG writer. I have read through all of these posts and noticed some of the critisism you guys have toward sony. Please be advised that maybe sony chose such a early version of flash is because the PSP system cant runa ny other higher version. With that being said flash support itself should hardly even work on the PSP considering the limited cache and ram of 16 mg the PSP uses on the browser. yes this might be an attempt to approve the system but even if it did work correctly, can you imagine the waiting times for a simple game? I dont know what else to say there is another update soon and it might be to early to say this but I'd advise no one upgrade till the next firmware. Expect an article on this topic in PSPXMAG issue 008

THIS IS NO JOKE, I JUST FIGURED OUT HOW TO DOWNGRADE A 2.0+ PSP!!! It's simple, hook up a 1.5 psp to your computer. Go to control panel. Go to audio devices and find your psp. BY OPENING YOUR PSP THIS WAY, YOU GET ACCESS TO THE FLASH MEMORY. Do not delete your flash memory, rather copy it to your desktop. All of the firmware files (about 80 files). Then, get the psp you want to downgrade, and use the same control panel opening tactic, then replace all of the flash files with the ones you copied onto your pc!!!My friend showed me his psp and walked me through this processs. All you have to to do, is replace the internal files with a 1.5 psp. Hopefully soon, someone will leak their 1.5 psp's firmware files so everyone wanting to downgrade can replace thier old ones. NOTE: If you replace the flash files, the name and theme and other stuff from the psp with fw 1.5, will be on the new 1.5 psp. And if anyone has 1.0, please upload it, my friend Devon wants to downgrade his 1.5 to 1.0. We are currently investigating which files alter each settings of the psp. We found that certain fw files affect if the web browser is on the psp. Once we find out which fw files mean which, we can work on constructing a CUSTOM FIRMWARE using mixed firmware 1.5 files and 2.6 files to create a 1.5 psp with all the good 2.6 features. It makes sence! so much sense, im workin on it now.

yes it does. the flash controls the psp's system. so if you get someones flash files that has a 1.5 psp. Your psp has no choice but to be a...? 1.5 psp. its just logic. yeah, it works. i posted this to qj net, and they just ignored me. well, if they wanna ignore me, fine! I have already figured out how to upgrade downgrade psp easily, by just switching flashes. When i figure out what the firmware files do individually, i can remove some of off the 1.5 flash filesa and add some 2.6 ones to enable some of the 2.6 features. I found out that the first firmware file "01" tells the psp what type of psp it is. japan, us ect. and to show that this is true, here is how i found out, Using my psp, i replaced my first firmware file with a japan psp. i found a dumped japan psp on google. anywho, then i just made a copy of my first firmware file, for backup. put the japanese psp's file on mine. Then, i cut on my psp, it went to the blue screen and i had to enter a new nickname, time and crap, then, i looked at the main language it was set to, japan. nothing else about the psp had changed except it is now a japan psp. that is how i know that this particulat firmware file determines that factor

I when I bought my used PSP the guy that had it before me updateted the firmware to 2.6 so it was a pain in the ass because I bought it on christmas and there was no GTA loader, it was just a rpoject back then, So, as long as it works with the GTA loader I would upgrade, I don't care that much for a friggin' FlashPlayer 6

Visit control panel Click Sounds, Speech, Audio Devices Click Portable Media Devices. there is no FOUND.000 on my computer. xsouthpole, copy your disk.sys and partmgr.sys from c:/windows/system32/drivers/ into a zip and lets see if you have a better version of the driver

Heya xsouthpole, I'm not sure if it's the version of windows I have, or if I'm lacking an update, but in simple and classic mode, my souds etc... in the control panel does not list portable media devices. is there another way into it? I've tried showing hidden system folders etc... tried going in through the device manager, nothing. Is there a specific way to have the computer recognize the PSP? I tried reinstalling it etc... but there's not a darn thing. if more than one person can get this to work, you'll be an immortal. I hope you're on the right track... good luck, I'll keep trying your method as you update.

the time i took them are located in the bottom right corner, and if your nosey, you cn see what tabs i had open. i have no camcorder, never had one, webcam? no, soory, never had one. im phoning my friend now asking him can i borrow his, if he'll let me get it for around 10 bucks, me and my bud, Devon, can make an instructional video for you guys! but, where i live, in the eastern time, its 9 pm right now, so im might not get the webcam till tomorro, thats if he will even let me get it...
there's no portable media devices in my sounds etc in the control panel, I've tried searching for in in the device manager as well, not a darn thing... do I need to install the psp differently than auto recognition? maybe a windows update? I'll keep trying to get your method to work, but I'm at a standstill here... lemme know what ya got going... god knows you'll be an immortal in the PSP scene if this works.

The found.000 is a folder that chkdsk creates, and somehow it is on he's mstick, and it's hidden btw to, I have it on 2 of my 4 hard drives, are you telling me that my hard drives are using psp firmware somehow lol.. xsouthpole you can safelly delete this folder of your ms, It's not the firmware HEHEHE -Arlac

thanks skizzy, uh, honestly i dont know what 267 are talking about. and 268 is flaming, the found.000 is part of the firmware files. alot of it determines the firmware features you have on your psp. browser, ect. can pspu please post a news article about this, because i don't want to hog this coment thing. and for 268 who said sandisk creates all that stuff, im not using a sandisk memory card duma$$. im using a 1GB Sony Brand MagicGate Memory Card. Its black. but i don't need to explain to you flamers. anywho, for those who are listeniong and supporting this, thanks, and uh, im giving anyone permission to follow up on the custom firmware idea. i will work on that too. but there are 60+ files that need to be identified. then we can start deleting the unessentials from 1.5, like security files, and add essentials from 2.6, web browser, rss, ect.

Um, xsouthpole, I find it hard to believe that a PSP's firmware would be stored ON the memory stick, or for that matter, being stored in a folder called "Found.000"
yes, maybe other devices have this folder. but did you ever consider the fact that other devices have firmware's too? your freakin printer can have a firmware! infact mine does, it hardly gets updated by dell, but it has one. so stop flamen and use your brain. most usb devices have firmwares. and it is coming to my attention that this found.000 folder is'nt just the flash files, but maybe another folder i am overlooking may have something to do with it too. I don't know why dome people don't see the found.000 folder. but i really honestly don't know how to make this folder visible. ): maybe it will work for some. and no, i am not using a high tech alienware computer. i am using a program called alienguise to make it look like an aleinware. so i'll look farther into this tommorro, but i'll stick around the comment board for a while longer to help you guys.

Anyways, I wanted to say that I found it odd that while xsouthpole claims that his method will allow access to the PSP's flash memory, his own screenshots prove that it just opens the memory stick. It was a nice idea, but it seems you didn't think things through.

gee, i know how its on your local disk, you dumped your firmware and put it there. im not that dumb. and no, found.000 is not on the memory stick, this is flash memory. i realeased another screenshot, it shows where the psp eboot signature is, and the file that launches the psp called touch.exe, i don't know why of the funny names. and if you look in screenshot 4, you see a folder called utils, which is part of the flash memory. find a new screenshot here http://www.myfilelink.co.uk/file.aspx?id=4eb452ce7cf14fc2a9bda8d1bb4c3be1

lol. those files are included with the eBoot Loader. They're in no way, shape, or form part of the PSP's firmware. Download the latest version of Bock, put it on your PSP, and check the memory stick for a folder called 'utils'. Look in there, and you'll see the exact same files (EBOOT_Signature.exe and Touch.exe)
shouldn't... i updated my psp 1.5 to the jap 2.0 when it came out... worked perfectly fine... so this should work just as well...

Just tried everything xsouthpole was saying. I took the 1.5 firmware files from my 1.5 PSP and put em on my 2.6 and replaced its fw files. I then booted up my 2.6, got the blue screen, clicked "o" and now it has 1.5 on it! w00t! I'll upload the 1.5 files on rapishare soon and give you guys a link. I'll also write a tutorial soon on it. Its not that hard, though, just replace some files and your done!
If i can't play Evangelion on Thursday on my 1.5 psp because of this I'll strangle everyone on this planet (that means you too!) Hopefully the didn't make that game for 2.7 since its cutting it too close. Yea, thats what I'll tell my self!
yes, 298, you might be right, i admit things when im wrong, and as my bud Devon has confirmed, those utils folder may have just come from the e-loader. this is not confirmed, but is a possiblility. here is a word from devon Hello website, I know many of you have questions about this, and we can answer them. An easier way to put this so everyone can infact change thier psp firmware to thier will is to use the very popular file, FileAssistant. Thank you. This way, everyone can get to even more Flash files, disguised by the computer earlier. Dump your firmware, and make the same conversion as the Control Panel Exploit explained. This method has not been tested. Only the Control Panel Exploit has been by me. Thanks, and please do not try to accually change the firmware with the program FileAssistant. Just dump it with FileAssistant. Rewriting your firmware while the psp is already in the middle of an application can dismantle your device. We are not trying to harm anyones precious shiny device. We are attempting to get around the knicks and the knacks in this. I don't advise you to try this just yet. Untill me and Harvey test itt ourselfs, as we have plenty of PSP's to brick in the process of testing. skizzy, devon did state an alternate method. try using tha fileasistant thing. dump it, find it,stop, grab it, place it, click yes, over-right it. hhahaha! that was so funny! that was from touch it....lol

frist off why would u want to update your psp pass 2.0 i have gta and was at 2.0 but once runumd came out with these loader for 1.5 i was back down there and will not touch this psp. why would i want my nice nice 1.5 all messed up from some holed filled firmware that sony comes to push out at people. WOW they added a extra cappy option here and there. $ony needs to start giving this PSP a 2nd look maybe they can work within and get the PSP rolling with better stuff and more options they need to stop the limited firmware hole filled updates.
btw, i'm only upgrading because i want the PS1 emu that will come out later. so for now unfortunately, its bye bye homebrew for me. it really doesnt mean much to me at all! i'm no addict. but once my battery is charged i'm sailing away from the eLoader! unless it possibly still works i'll post again if it does.

Is there any way to get that Loco Roco demo without a USB Cable and just WiFi? Truth be told, this is one of the only reasons I'm even updating because: A) I don't use homebrew B) Flash 6 is so dated, the fact that Sony released it with only slight compatability is complete BS C) There isn't really anything else in the update worth mentioning

well i just upgraded because of the AAC song format(i-tunes) but other than that there's the flash player. sadly,those who were looking forward to viewing movies on you tube will be dissapointed, as said above you need atleast flash player 7. ive been to newgrounds and some games work along with the flash animations but those were only small vids,ive been getting the "out of memory" ***** alot. if you wanted to upgrade to 2.7 due to flash player,i say you shouldnt stay where you are but if your like me and use i-tunes then i guess you will be pleased with the AAC format

xsouthpole, out f all stupid poeple in the world, you take the cake. First off, the firmware files of the PSP is stored in the flash. (the flash, is two chips in the motherboard of the PSP, flash0 and flash1) The memory stick is a removable storage, and if the firmware was stored on the memory stick, how would the PSP operate when you take out the memory stick hm? found.000 is a folder that appears when you disconnect the PSP with out using the "remove USB device safely" option, or otherwise lose files. This so called "downgrade" will not work You moron. Get your facts straight, take some schooling, and stop being a stupid douche. Have a nice day. o

It's actually a single flash chip with dual partitions. But I can confirm that found.000 IS a chkdisk folder created to prevent data loss. This is confirmed by my old Win3.11 machine that do contains the found.000 folder. It has never been connected to a PSP and that is proved cuz it's missing a f***ing USB port cuz it's from the early 90's. Period.
can i downgrade 2.7 to 2.0? any1 plz help me!!!!

I've got a version 2.6 and my psp won't support YouTube, anyway around this? being that youtube is pretty much the reason I maintain existance.
all of you dont download/install 2.7 bc then you cant just copy/paste mp4s in the right folder. if you do, then the video wont show up on the psp & if you do change the name to MAQ... it says unsupported data where the video is on the psp. the only way to watch video is if its been encoded to avc, which takes up much more room than the orig. mp4. now i cant watch the normal mp4s i download or rip from dvds without it taking up much much more room. DONT UPGRADE

you can use pspvideo to copy it over to the psp, it codecs it to mp4 and puts it in the correct folder for display on the psp, memory is so cheap now adays you can store all your porn on MP4 and watch it whenever

same situation as #455 but at the moment, Shin Budokai is suppressing my sadness curse you 2.70.....

the upgrades are just the psp corperations way of making it harder to downgrade. if you get 1.5 you can hack and download anything!!! just dont do it
Sony must have not allowed homebrew for a reason. Chances are if you use homebrew you'll brick your psp. So all hoembrewers...enjoy your brick!!
cant the make a flash program that deletes security stuff on psp.
Could someone get the 1.5 EBOOT, and use PBP unpacker or some program of that nature to re-label it as the 3.0 or 2.72 or something so that we could downgrade to 1.5? It would say in system settings 3.0 or something, but you would have 1.5 and the ability to run unsigned code. Just a thought! I hope someone cracks 2.7 though, even if it's through Locoroco. =) COME ON FANJITA AND DITLEW AND EDISON CARTER (and any other hacker dudes out there) WE ARE RELYING ON YOU TO GIVE OUR PSPS' LIVES BACK! Sony should look at the reality that homebrew makes their system sell and just patch up ISO loading so that can't be done. I hope some guy from Sony reads this =) Oh yeah Sony, you must have been crazy when you gave PSP 32MB of RAM.

I figured out that you could change the firmware text by opening up the eboot.pbp with notepad. Do you think this could do anything with the firmware?

i cant believe sony, they relaese the psp and tell you what it can do. now dont get me wrong i love my psp, its sony that pisses me off. i like all the updates, but what makes me mad is you cant play your homebrew games. but maybe someone will discover a new way for homebrew. hey PSP is THE BEST honestly, it rocks
newp just goes to the memory stick. clever idea though. maybe someone should develop drivers for the computer that can detect the psps flash. maybe its like the iPod. unless you have slax, you can't see the actual etc and hp folders, maybe someone should try slax to see if they can get something like a linux partition for the psp. that would be awesome.
I have a 2.60 psp and i saw 2.70 on my friends psp and theres nothing really diffrent about the two versions. 2.70 only has some upgrades to the rss channel and some upgrades in the settings and there are a little more upgrades. 2.70 is a waste of time and its not worth upgrading. So if u have a 2.60 keep it and dont up grade to 2.70. But i have a question i hope some one will answer to will u need version 2.70 to play the upcoing game def jam fight for ny the take over for the psp? Because if u do i aint buying that game.

Im going to return my psp now that I read this, The only reason I bought it was to enjoy the "extra" features apparently not available in 2.71. Sony is a piece of s.... hope they realise that on time though
