A new form of competition has been released in the PSP storage market, in the form of an 8 in 1 pad for your PSP. For gamers waiting on an alternative to the bulky PSP Hard Drive, this highly anticipated Talismoon Neo Pad is now available for gamers who want their PSP looks more hip and cool without losing its efficiency. This docking-station-esque 8 in 1 super pad reads SD/MM/CF/Micro Drive/Micro HD/MS and can also recharge your battery. I don't know how many of you get sore hands after extended play, but I would think this would help. Another thing, this appears easily detachable, unlike Datel's PSP Hard Drive, which this seriously gives them a run for the money, priced at $199 as well, which includes a 4GB CF drive. Which of these do you think is the winner?

seems like a good price for what it can do...but I would wait and see how well it can do. Would it suffer from the same problems that the Datel Hard Drive had?

I wonder what the write speed on it is. The problem i have is that if I upgrade to 3.0 when it's released and the Sony 8 GB is priced reasonably is there any reason to buy this?

at least this one looks like it mught be reasonably comfortable to hold. Too bad the PSP is already big enough as it is...it doesn't need to be BIGGER. Even if it does make playing for extended times easier.



Still not worth it, imo.

Memory=RAM you know? Now firmware upgrade can help you RAM/hd unless it pickups the hardware and installs it for you. And 8 gigs isn't possible right now thanks to the psp using a FAT file system, which only allows 4 gigs. If they could just use FAT 32... don't really need NTFS, I perfer FAt32 (easier to partition for Linux).

What about changing games, you would have to take the entire thing off, then switch games. Then put the hard drive back on. And from one of those pictures, the little memory card that goes into the PSP looks very delicate.

We know that you knob jockey. Kos is saying that a firmware upgrade might in turn upgrade the PSP's file system - hence allowing it to access more than 4 gigs. He dosen't say the upgrade will actually provide the memory you spac..!

The 4 gb thats coming out soon is going to be priced at $250 don't think the 8gb will get over $600

The 4gb are going to be $360 it says it right on sandisks website. So my guess is that the 8gb are going to be at least $800 if not $1000.

I would definatly get this. but i already bought the tumor pack for my psp. I dig the max drive and battery pack combo. but you need to use o-rings on the hard drive case to hold it in place after a while. Over all it was a good purchase but this one would be even better for me with the pants that I generaly wear. I would have plenty of room for it. And swaping cards with other people to try out their homebrew would be easier.
