UPDATE 2: Just a reminder that the contest is still running till tomorrow at 12pm EST. We also wanted to remind you that the pictures you send in need to be from movies, videogames or TV shows, I offer the following lame-O examples from the most hardcore TV show of all time:

Just yesterday we reviewed the Neuros Video Recorder and gave it a hearty thumbs up for its ease of use and flexibility at the end of the review we teased that we'd be letting you guys know how to get your hands on one for free, and we promised that we'd let you know how to win one for free, and that it would be easy. So here are the details folks.
Here's what you have to do. Find a humorous screengrab or screenshot from a TV show, movie or videogame and add a caption to it that makes everyone here at the QJ Labs laugh their butts off. That's it, that's all you have to do. But it has to be clever, be smart and above all be funny. I want to see tears streaming down Jake's eyes, I want to see Justin laughing so hard he snorts milk out his nose, just be "teh funny!"
Rules and Regulations
Yup there are rules, every contest has to have rules, and this one's no different.

with the words "Caption Competition" in the email title.
- The deadline for entries is 12pm EST on Friday the 22nd of September.
- All images submitted must be in either PNG or JPEG image formats.
- The use of racial or sexual slurs and foul language is prohibited. (That's just too easy)
- The subject matter's up to you, pretty much anything's fair game.
Pardon the last minute addition, but sometimes my mind slips and I forget to mention important little details. In this case that would be that the contest is open only to US. Residents. Apologies if you live in Tanzania and have already submitted your entry, but take solace in the thought that it probably made us guffaw. Unless you're the one who sent in the nudie pics, that wasn't funny [ctl/addtoprivatecollection].

The contest will be narrowed down to three finalists by myself and Jake over the weekend, and starting Monday the 25th of September, you'll all be able to vote for the contest winner in a site poll that will run till Monday the 2nd of October.

I give props for making it a contest that anybody has a chance at winning.
You know how many times I'm watching a movie, I hit pause to go to the washroom, or get food, or whatever, I come back, and look at the screen and laugh my ass off at the mid-expression on a persons face? Just need to think of something witty to add to one of those, and hope for the best. :)

You can enter as many times as you want, get in the groove of things. No videos, no matter how short, just screen grabs, still images.

it's not a bad update. Shipping out of the U.S.A. is a pain in the ass. YOU try shipping something outside your country. It's either too complicated or it's just too expensive.

I don't know much about shipping, but i'm sure they have damn good reasons why you outsiders can't have our stuff. (or atleast have it shipped to your land)

Maybe it's just a "Rule"......remember, "every contest has to have rules".

Can I enter from Canada?
The contest's only open to residents of the United States. :(
Last time I checked, Canada was outside the USA(for now). ;)
When the CDN dollar passes the US dollar, they'll do a corporate hostile take-over, and then you'll be able to enter US only contests.
Since no one replied, I submitted a few anyway, but hopefully not too late!

Different countries, and even different states/provinces, have different legal issues concerning contests. That's one of the biggest reasons most contests are region-specific. Shipping is a factor too.
