Square Enix Online Merchandise Store opening this August 20

Break out that wallet, dust off those shelves, and and mark your calendars, folks! Square Enix has just announced that they're getting ready to start up their official online merchandise store, with the grand opening set for August 20, 2007, at around 6 p.m. PST.

This online shop will provide Square Enix fans with a full range of collectibles ranging from figurines, model kits, to clothing accessories. And given the online shop carries direct ties to the company, expect plenty of exclusive wares to pop up in the days following the opening day.

In case you're wondering what's up for grabs, we spied a Judge Magister Gabranth action figure on display, and limited edition Advent Children sculptures during our last site visit. Guys interested in formulating their shopping list are advised to click on the read link for full details.

They should also release this website on the playstation store. (and the xboxlive too, since some games are on M$ consoles as well)

Now now dear. I think it's pretty damn cool that one can buy some stuff off of SE, especially some of the cooler items. Like a Gunblade or something. Also some of the Artwork I wouldn't mind having.
