Sony unveils BDZ-A70: Transfer TV content to your PSP or Walkman |
Ó
If you guys enjoyed ripping Blu-Ray titles into your PSP with the PlayStation 3, then we got a gadget update that will make you guys jump for joy. Sony has just launched the BDZ-AA70, a Blu-Ray and HDD DVR that will you transfer any TV content to your PSP or Walkman. With this little baby, you can record your favorite TV shows and sync it later with your PSP or Walkman with just a single push. How's that for ease of use? The transfer time depends on the video quality you want to transfer. It takes about three minutes to transfer a 60 minute video with QVGA 768k and two minutes for the QVGA 384k resolution.
Aside from this fancy feature, you can easily forward videos to NTT DoCoMo mobiles as well. The gadget has a hefty storage space of about 320 GB HDD with two ground analog and digital TV tuners and a Sony Room Link. Do be noted that unlike the PS3, the BDZ-A70 can't rip Blu-Ray titles. Well, if you own the console, it's no problem at all.
We also managed to grab the video of the gadget. Do enjoy the clip below.

but what do you mean by "blu ray and hdd DVR?" What's a blu-ray DVR? Does that mean that you can record blu-ray disks on it, and then copy it later?? i highly doubt that, since its blatant piracy of sony's own format.
In the first paragraph it says A70 instead of AA70.
copy Blu-Ray from my PS3 to the PSP? Is this fearute a reality?
