Sony PSP Camera To Be Launched Next Month |

After the much-hyped up introduction of the PSP camera, Sony is now ready to release it to the market.
Starring in the Tokyo Game Show on September 22, the much-awaited PSP camera will finally be showcased, along with the GPS receiver unit. But the PSP camera's debut is not the only event that is being watched out for. On that same show, gamers can, for the first time, actually test the PS3 from a range of 27 titles. Games like Warhawk, Ridge Racer 7, Fatal Inertia, Heavenly Sword to mention a few are available in Sony's booth.
A navigation software will also be displayed, though not much is known about it. The guess is that there will be different versions with navigation data specific to each country. The booths will have special access points where you can download the trial version of new games on a Memory Stick and later play on the PSP.

it betta be a good camera, considering that it is for such a big system (psp) cus there's lots of good tiny cameras... (waterproof, shock proof, etc.) sony better win bak their fans considering E3
if their used it in socom :P So that when you close your left eye you would go into zoom/aim mode :D

Personally I think this is a step in the wrong direction.
maybe 3.00 nwill come with it or maybe 2.9 We still dont know much about it. Not even the specs or price. Come on Sony!!
The source says that the camera, GPS, and PS3 will be showcased at the show, but it doesn't say that's when they will be launched.
I like the water effect when I move myself side to side, cuz I went to E3 this year and its awesome! I even saw two memory stick pro duos, a 4GB and a 8GB! Then I saw the Playstation Spot to downloads Loco Roco Demo but I didn't, cuz I have 1.50, lol! I can tell the Camera will drains the battery fast, cuz of add-on.
Does anybody know if ithe camera has a flash? cause if it doesnt it will prob take shyt pictures, how about zooming in and out? and the price? Now the GPS sounds cool if its at a nice price.
Well if the GPS is nice and cheap im finally going to have to let go 1.5 after a year and a half of having it since i am in a desperate need of it :S

Will there be any eyetoy games for this? Otherwise I don't see the point of it...

thats fine for me because thats the reason I would get it. For 20$ thats pretty good to me! I there is a good game coming out for it then I would check it out.

wow tha first ever massivly made video phone............with this theres no more need for that *****ty side kick thing youll actually be able to speak and see some one as long as you have a hot spot nearby and as ive heard the whole u.s. will be blanketed with a free stong hotspot connected all the time.....paid for by all the add companys that want you to swee there products anywhere anytime the only other video phones ive seen are the ones on the new broadcasting from iraq to the u.s why isnt this a BIG DEAL? hopefully sony wont just make a low end camera and maby might make higher quality for people that are into it
can any body help me? i have been wanting to get a good top quality SONY cybershot camera but im only interested if i can take my memory card strait out of it and view them on my psp because i remember that a while ago i tried to view some bmp pictures i drew that were 3mb each on it but the psp said that "picture cannot be viewed file too large 2607kb" or something like that what is the limit of megapixels viewable on the psp? i wanted a 7.5 or 10 megapixel camera or better
Its multiplyer.Its called, psp-porn. You just strip in front of the low-end/quality psp camera, then the other players that are watching you online are gonna rate a score for you. Do your best to get the highest score. This sony addon is lame and is too late..

this thing looks semi intresting except that it doesnt have flash it looks way worse then the concept one back in tha day and you probrably cant do alot of the thing i hope for like high speed video cofrencing and be able to mess with your pics or be able to put a red sticker on your finger have the psp recognize it and write your name in the air using it and zoom feater or alot more WOW I JUST SOLD MYSELF OUT OF THIS ONE;(
YAY! im getting a ps3 after a few months and the fix the catching on fire and melting/scratching your cd's the next gta is gonna suck cause its on both systems and rockstar is ristricted to those chitty 9 gigs cant want for a no holds barred ps3 exclusive taken to tha limit in tha long run ps3 gonna have tha best games i been seeing many videos of saints row and the same cars keep poppin up and the city looks plain or dull maby 9 gigs isnt enough to werk wit

You wont need a wire itwill just plug in and you will be able to save your videos or it will just be pointless also it can be used as webcam and an eyetoy will come out and it proberly will have flash and will take pictures and overall it will be so boring because there is nothing to do, why not just buy a camera with higher pictures, pretty much everyones questions answered
lets hope its decent enough and do you know the usb digi cans with the fat usb u cud use 1 of then with a psp connecter

I think the camera will be pretty cool but dnt get too exited because it will probably only be 1.3 megapixels which is like a mobile phone camera. however, it would not be as clear or sharp as a proper cannon or sony digital camera. if you could record video and if it will have good features then i would definately buy 1 :p.
I wonder if they can make a program that uses the pspcamera as a webcam, say your playing your psp game. Then some friend of yours with a psp rings your psp then webcam mode comes on and pauses your game, then you talk thrue your socom headset with a mic. Free telephone method right there! LOL you would need a internet connection.....and hope my dream comes true :P.Whos with me!

Calm down you Fruits...... the PSP 2 will have that built in.... but since all you homebrew loving queers like adding stupid looking accessories to your PSP 1 and making it look like a white trash caravan, you should definitely be excited to buy this goofy looking thing.
