Solid Snake's lust object: The TAD Gear PSP Pod

Adventure gear maker TAD Gear has just released information on a new PSP accessory targeted for the military aficionados out there, labelled the PSP Pod. What makes this product interesting is that it's advertised to be MILSPEC, which means it's probably up to par with the U.S. Department of Defense's standards for GI equipment. And no, that does not make it bulletproof.

As you've probably guessed, this Pod was designed with the PSP-owning overseas soldier in mind (it looks like it'll fit in a magazine pouch), who needed something sturdy and reliable to carry their handhelds in. Here are the rest of the product details from TAD Gear's site:

MILSPEC construction accessory pod for Sony PSP, and PSP Slim
8" length X 3.75" wide X 2" deep
1000D Dupont Cordura, 1" MILSPEC webbing
YKK heavy duty coil zipper with paracord pulls
Clamshell design with adjustable hinge paracord
Adjustable retainer fits PSP and new PSP "Slim"
3" x 4" loop patch for morale patches
ID card flap
Removable accessory organizer holds:

2 spare batteries
3 UMDs
4 memory sticks with cases
Ear buds
Vertical or horizontal attachment straps

Colors: US Army Spec Foliage Green

TAD Gear's PSP Pod currently sells for US$ 99.95. Just be sure to make your order asap - Tad Gear further announced that this is a limited production accessory. And dare we say it, it just screams to go with some Portable Ops-luvin'.

Despite being expensive, I think it's *****ing awesome to see a MOLLE compatible PSP case. I might look into one, but the color on it definently isn't foilage green, it's more like CB (Coyote Brown).

TAD Gear

Respect to TAD Gear, they make some of the best military gear in the industry. Nice product.
