SanDisk 4GB now going for US$ 65 |
About a week back, we told you about Sandisk's 4GB memory stick being sold for US$ 70 over at Google Checkout. Most of you expressed your disappointment that you didn't have the patience to wait for its price to go down and thus settled for something more expensive. Well, this tidbit truly gives more factual evidence to the saying "good things come to those who wait".
Visiting the same website, we spotted the same Sandisk memory stick now being sold for just $ 64.95. Heck, five bucks is five bucks and for this Holiday season, you'll need all the money you can get to buy those gifts. It's amazing how prices change as this product sported a $ 220 tag six months ago, then went down for 90 bucks last month, then sold for 70 greenbacks, and now going for roughly US$ 65. We could only wonder how low the price would be in the coming weeks.

I heard that firmware 1.5 cant read sticks bigger than 2gb, is this true?

i have a sony 4gb and it works wonders, on any firmware, yes including the 3.01. just that big games such as nfs carbon and gta are a little bit slow on certain occasions where it needs more loading up. but this doesnt bother me much. fix it by the new dh 0.51 which can overclock.

Firmware 1.5 to 2.7x(I dont know about se) can hold sticks up to 4gb You need 2.8X to use a 8 gb

this is false, even in the sandisk home page, the memory cost $150,so this must be false or give the link

i had a 4gb stick n i formatted it with my computer while its attaced with a usb.it got reformatted to a a 32mb..does anybody know how it can be fix or has anybody encounter this problem before....i would really appreciated it someone can help me out..thankss
