PSP Quake video: Running on an IR keyboard |
Ó
There's no download link at the moment, which is a major bummer given how much fun PSP Quake was even on the PSP's admittedly FPS-unfriendly buttons and thumbstick. We'll just have to wait, and hope rein4ce decides to share this PSP Quake mod. Cool - all we need now is a mouse mod, and we're all set.

thats cool i guess
i guess its kool but i dont have 1 of thos keyboards... how do i get 1???
See, this is something to be proud of. Now, if someone could get this (or any usb keyboard) to work with bochs, dosbox, or a mac emulator, we could reallt be on to something, don't you think? At this point it's not if, but when.
I personally would like to use it with the browser or for IM on the PSP, that would be really nice
This is great! I'd love to do office things with the psp (OpenOffice Write for example) Also it would be very cool for the Internet Explorer of the PSP. Sony, start to produce original PSP keyboards!
No thanks on the IE for PSP, i would rather have a good browser. Like Links2. Or anything else.
Yea somekind of word processing tool would be nice. Or some kind of calendar tool for appointments.
This is great and all but I think what we'd all want is AFKIM support. That would be great.
This version of Quake or better yet, CS Combined Assault's Quake could be modified to support this IR keyboard but we'll still need a mouse. :(
except it wont be afKim anymore.. cause you'd have a keyboard :P
Hi rein4ce, hope you read this I am a Targus Universal Keyboard owner and I would really like to know whether the program recognises my Keyboard.. Would love to test it out.. Can you make this Possible?
I heard of a key re-mapper for CWCheats. Now, CWCHeats is used on retail games, but what if it could be used on homebrew llike Quake?. I might try this, because PSP Quake would pwn_all if you could have the same keys as, say MoH or Battlefront II. : )
LOL he uses GOD-MODE!!!!! XD
im not being a hater but i see the usb cord plugged in, its great that the keys work but unless i can use it on the go than i really don't think its useful
It's utter *****. The PSP is SUPPOSED to be portable. What the ***** do you think the last P stands for? Nice work... NOT. Try again. I swear, I create better crap when I'm on the toilet.
