xsouthpole: it could be a phone service. Just like socom, fireteam bravo, yo could use your mic and talk to people without playing a game. Phone is possible since technically, when you play games online over your psp your using something like a free phone service. It would suck because you would have to be near a hotspot, but hey! maybe sony can make an addition to the wireless lan capabilities that could raiese the lan sensors by at least 10 times! Thats possible. And as small as wireless lan thingeys are nowadays, id say the attachment would'nt be that big. Yall got to think outside the box.

that keyboard most definately has homosexual tendancies. it likes it on top, though, I'll give it that.

i know it looks stupid at the top, maybee ut could be a TOUCH SCREEN type technology, with a stylus..?? who knows...

The Phone add-on may be for VOIP service. If it converts the PSP into a cell phone then the add-on could be expensive for what it is becasue extra battery power may also be needed and a sim card may aslo be needed if its a cell phone. But VOIP service does not need this only extra software and a wireless hotspot.

What about a transparent touch-surface that instantly gives the PSP a touch-screen? ;)

Ok I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the PSP blows balls. I returned that ***** 4 days after I bought it. It dosen't have enough functions. The graphics should be way better, it should have better memory capabilities. Oh yea, and Memory Stick Pro Duo's shouldnt cost an arm and a leg. Wait for the PSP 2. We all know its coming soon. (OH YEA, that keyboard looks like *****...)

the graphics suck compared to what, the DS? or the N-Gage? all of those functions, NO hanheld game system has all of them, and why the hell would the PSP make phone calls? It's NOT a damned cell phone. Stop wasting your time on a PSP News site, and go play with your Sidekick.

this is only a concept thats even if they are going to produced it, they will change it just like they are doing with the ps3's controllers. and the psp being a phone is nothing more than being able to chat with your friend who has a headset and may be a video chat with the release of the psp's eye toy.

That's so weird. I filled out a SONY survey through playstation underground for the PSP. In the comment box for things I would like to see on the PSP , I listed 3 things ; one of whic being a KEYBOARD. Maybe they seen it and took it to heart. It would be just like SONY to leave a wild card up their sleave for just such an occasion. One of the reasons I like SONY so much, they really do know how to market their products . I'd have to say that this keyboard will sooner or later be a reality indefinately (or it could be wishful thinking, take it as you will ...lol).

its too small adn ackward, the logix 3 one was way better plus it acted as a face cover.

it could be an flip down touch thingie so it would flip down and cover the screen and double as a touch screen! that would be soo cool
