PSP homebrew developers Buzz and ZX-81 have come up with a homegrown accessory for the PlayStation Portable that lets you use a wireless paddle or joystick device through the PSP Phat's IRDA port.

The device, which you have to build for yourself, will let you connect any DB9 joystick or paddle to the PSP. It uses the IRDA port, so this is for Phat PSPs only. here are a couple of videos showing it being used with PSPMagic and PSPPong, respectively.

Those interested in building the device can get documentation, PCB layout and source code through the source link. If you have any questions, click on the Visit link below and post it on the QJ.NET forums.
