so when you use this it will eighter run on a battery or only if plugged :(
Also it will block your USB port and your UMD drive (is it a theft protection???)
also, it doesnt cool the sides of the PSP where Batterys or processor are...
This device is REALY VERY, VERY USEfull...

I got one not to far back & I really noticed an increase in my battery life when playing for extended periods. I figured it was because the PSP stayed cooler.

Yeah Sure buddy. Something that uses Battery life to begin with, IS NOT going to conserve battery Life.... What a dolt, but then again so am I for being a coward

2. Dry the sweat on the button when you are playing the game
3. Build in battery which can be recharge by the PSP AC adapter
Product is from China, this is likely what is on the box since the grammer is horrible.
Keentop (http://www.pc-keentop.com/ http://www.keentop.cn/) makes them, (so says a couple of websites i found).

There is literally NO use for this unless your hands are so sweaty you're afraid you'll short circuit your psp. By looks it doesnt even touch the front so thats pretty much pointless. The airflow isn't under your fingers, its just over/between, it needs to go under to be remotely effective (jagged surface).

This accessory is not for cooling your hands (also to the other people who didn't read). On the advertisement it says, "Sony PSP Cooling Fan - Mount to Cool Battery". Please try to read before saying anything like that.
Thank you for being an idiot.
Now, for my review on this accessory, this thing is just completely stupid. First of all, it's not cooling the battery. The battery is on the right side, not in the middle. So these people need to learn more about the PSP before they make accessories for it that make no sense.
Now, if this WAS for cooling your hands, and the fans were actually pointing towards them, it still would be a bad idea, because of where your hands mostly sweat while playing the PSP. Not only your pinky and ring fingers sweat while playing it...
In conclusion, this accessory was a bad idea and will most likely be a failure. Noone would need to buy something like this. The PSP does not get hot in the middle like that.

everyone who is using the word "idiot" - needs to stop and pick up a thesaurus and everyone else who has posted needs to stop and just realize that either
A. the fan is for your hands
B. the fan is to cool down the psp
C. it can make you fly
if you think it is a stupid idea say "wow it's stupid" and leave it at that
btw the psp gets quite ht while using wifi and in long use so outside tem regulated by a fan may help- thus increasing bat power. but you know that was just me using reason and prior knowledge -didn't say that was a fact though. get a life people

-yes.. take it off and use it as a fan
"i need link where can i download this handy tool ?"
-You are a moron... its hardware first of all... u cant "download" hardware.. u can view the page and purchase it though... and the link was also provided.. as it always is... so u asked a dumb question thinking it would be funny... now u seem super dumb because the link is there just like it always is in the news posts..... see "[Via UXCell]"??? yeah.. click that idiot
"and this product is gonna cost you 4.99 GBP. Maybe only the one who over-clock his PSP to 3330MHz would need this IMO. Really weird. O_o"
-Nope, its not only for people who "overclock" thier psp... actually i havent seen an overclocked one yet... seeing as how one hasnt gone over 333MHz yet. So those fans on xbox and ps2 controllers are for the cpu also?? i think not.... its OBVIOUSLY to cool your hands like with other consoles.... the diagram even shows how it flows evenly to BOTH hands... not directly to the cpu.... actually... not ANYWHERE NEAR the cpu... its on the back and cools near the outside... "OH THAT MUST BE TO COOL THE CPU DOWN.. SINCE IT ISNT NEAR IT".... no, moron...... its for your hands... please study the stories more and ask your supervisor before posting incorrect information, thank you!
IMHO.... you are incredibly ignorant to realize what things actually are... and u are illogical in your thinking... meaning you dont think logically and you are stupid as hell.
^^^calm down prick

Did some research (on ebay) and by the looks of the product packaging the device blows on the front of the psp. This may infact be comferting to the hands. I'm sure aot of you have experianced sweety hands using playstation controlers. I believe though that the psp is held in a way that allows your hands more room to breath so this isn't as much as a problem. But if your psp is heating up your hands (I know mine does) then this might axualy do the trick.
To note, some sellers on ebay claim this will cool/extend the life of your psp... I think this is just made up (as alot of things on ebay) to sell the product.
As there is no current product of this type, I think there is room for it, although it's success pending. I would like to try this device though.
Thanks

Thank you, Anonymous Coward above me.
Anyway, to say this again, it is NOT intended to cool your hands. It may do that, but it says it's a BATTERY cooler. That's why this accessory is, in my opinion, completely idiotic and useless.
