These accessories will come in really handy for those who need a lot of storage space on their units. The PhotoFast CR-3100 allows you to use two SD cards on your PSP at the same time, while the CR-5400 combines 2 microSD cards into one MS Pro Duo stick. Check out the product specs below for more details.
PhotoFast CR-3100:
- Holds 2 SD(HC) cards for super large capacity(2x16GB, 2x32GB); Cards type can be mixed(SD+SDHC)
- Freedom of expansion and upgrade. Super high read/write speeds of 10MB/s and up
- If only 1 SD(HC) card is used, it must be inserted into slot #1 in order to work.
- When using new SD(HC) cards, you need to format with a SONY product before you can store data.
- In order to copy or delete data directly, insert CR-3100 in your card reader. Don't take out the SD(HC) and perform write operations on the single card. Your data will be corrupt.
PhotoFast CR-5400:
- CR-5400 converts 2 microSD(HC) cards into one MS Pro Duo stick. You can get twice the capacity at a lower price.
- Cards of different capacity and different type can be used concurrently (i.e. microSD+microSDHC).
- The adapter works with only one microSDHC card as well. The second slot can be equipped anytime later. You can exchange the cards and upgrade the max. capacity at will!
- CR-5400 is made of high quality components and preserves the original speed of the inserted microSD(HC) cards (when two different types of microSD(HC) cards are used, the slower card sets the speed rate)
- Please use USB cable to transfer from PSP or SONY products to PC or other device. (NOT card reader; most of card readers DO NOT support hight capacity memory cards)

Why waiting till 09? when you can get it now? Waiting for sony to *ssrape you and cut a arm off yours just by yelling out loud "32GB Memorystick pro duo"?
No thanks, I do love sony products but I hate their *sshole attitude.
The point of the creators of this adapter is make a "alternative" for the sony consumers that needs the MSPD

is not a breakthrough, the whole point is that micro SDHC cards are way cheaper

The fallacy in that argument is that you're taking tomorrow's technology and stating that it's better than today's.
They already have 32gb SDHC's today, so 64gb is already possible, it's just the benefit/cost ratio isn't as great as two 16gb SDHC cards.
By the time sony comes out with a 32gb pro duo, I will be able to buy a 64gb SDHC card for the same price.

Why not just wait until the end of this year like usual for them to announce the 32 gb memory stick pro duo to come out in February.
One thing I do hope though is like how they mentioned they have the technology to hold over 1TB with the Pro Duo. Why not skip to that without even bothering with other sizes.

While a 16gb MSPD isn't always available, while the microSD gets cheaper everyday and a standard for all kind of stuffs.
If you didn't know, some of the psp users (including myself) has experienced that a genuine Sony MSPD died. It was something expensive %u20AC150,- bought it at the first day. This shouldn't be a big problem of the microSD because they're cheaper.
If you need to ugrade your memory, just reformat that microSD (that you could use it on your phone/camera/wii/ds) and buy a new pair of microSD's
MSPD you're stuck with Sony reads OLD SONY DEVICES, kill yourself.
New Sony devices (Phones/cameras?) are using some M2 cards. (microSD sized ya'know?)
By the time that Sony has released a 32gb card (that isn't available besides a computer hardware store) 64 gb SD's will be everywhere..
The only downpoint is that this adapter doesn't support Magicgate (duh, something Sony) but I don't need it because it's just a psp and not a mp3 player. Also most of the card readers doesn't support the combined 16gb microSD so you're stuck with the psp in usb mode (which isn't fast as a normal cardreader)
1TB MSPD? I hope you have enough money if they release it in the upcoming days what would it cost? a arm? a leg? instead of that just make it a build in memory in the psp-4000 LOL
