Pelican FM Modulator Bug Found |
Ó
A QJ reader, who goes by the name of Kay, sent a word of caveat to PSP owners who purchased the recently-released PSP FM Modulator (or Transmitter, if you want to avoid the redundancy). It was discovered that the said modulator has a bug. Apparently, it doesn't maintain the audio of Burnout Legends after about a minute of gameplay. So, if you bought the product to let your friends hear the awesome sound effects of the game in your car stereo, then prepare for a face-saving excuse. Kay said, "I called the techs and we discussed them putting out a compatibility list of games for it. I'll let you know if anything else is put out."
This is bad news for Pelican, who over the past months have gotten the ire of consumers due to the release of faulty PSP power bricks.

Why not just use headphones? Better quality for the same price. I thought this thing was just for music anyways.

You joka!
Yeah well, nice try

there is a product from nyko that does the same thing but it also charges the psp ..... works with everthing i have and its only like 19.95 BUT it needs to be plugged into the ashtray lighter good for music and movies while you dip
LoL No.1 GOT PWNED!!
to be honest though it's meant for playing your MP3's through your radio i wouldnt be surprised theres interference if the UMD drive is running! I hardly think this is a fault!!
Does anyone know how far this thing broadcasts!?!?
LoL No.11 CAN'T SPELL! ...but aside, I'm curious as to what happens a minute into Burnout Legends that keeps a device with such a simple connection to the PSP from functioning. Perhaps Burnout Legends emits the "brown sound" causing the pelican to crap it's pants and go home.
Frequency Modulation modulator lol
people use these for playing games???? wtf! that's pretty funny
I just dont trust some third party products.
haha, like i said, Pelican still shells out half-assed stuff. Thank god they're not working for the military (sure fighter jets would cost $19.99 but it'll be made out of old tires and grass clippings)
it's like saying I connect my PSP to the stereo and it stops playing sounds! can't understand it
I don't even have a website.
is 100% correct. only good thing I ever got from pelican was for my gameboy color. it was some little cheat device for pokemon gold and silver, and it also doubled as a memory backup for all gameboy games. Taht ***** was tight! What happened to those good ol days when your products didnt suck pelican?
