This thing is perfect for adding Flash memory to the PSP, Instead of a battery but a MicroDrive or a MemoryStick with and MSD adaptor on, where can I just buy the Plastic thing, I dont want the battery.

Unless you're going on a trans-atlantic plane ride which is more than 6 hours it would be useful. PSPs' battery by itslef can last 6 hours. This makes my PSP look like it has a back problem.

na, ive seen a better looking one on ebay. Its one where you can put it in your pocket, and leave the wire plugged into your psp charge port. So you will still have the sleek buetiful look of the PSP and leave the extended battery in your pocket. And it gives off the same ammount as the post listed here in this thread.

Trust me that is useful, gives you a massive 3 times the power of the normal battery(When used with the internal battery) Its well worth a buy. Its big but its only really gonna be for Plane journies and car journies

Do you work for Brando?? Lol it looks terrible and will make ths psp awkward to hold. I wouldnt be suprised if we see comparisons between this and the original and find out its crap. Hopefully Brando go bankrupt so we see no more junk from them........lookin at it again i hope this is a joke.

ya, this thing looks DREADFUL. I got myself a spare standard battery. Much better than this contraption.

Might want to put some dead-weight on the back-left side of the system to keep balance....

this one is much better, barely makes it bigger, it has a special cover to fit the biggieness. Not all cumbersome. That brando lump is ridiculous.

its not 3 times the battery power, its two. and you HAVE to use the original battery.

random but, what would happen if you stacked these?

that's not going to fit in ANY protective case! One thought, it could perhaps make the PSP a little more comfortable for those with XL hands.

I have to agree with what was posted earlier about simply carrying a spare battery or two.

They did the best they could with the design, but it is extremely hard to NOT break up the PSPs beautiful lines with add-on stuff.

I wouldn't want to stop using my favorite case because of this solution either.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the apparent lack of any ergonomics with this product. It's terrible.

Man that thing is HUGE! Why not just get this one? It doesn't increase the size of your PSP at all!!

This thing is a bad idea, plain and simple.

Just buy an extra (SMALL) battery pack and keep it on you with your UMDs. This thing is worth the size, even if it was free I wouldn't use it.

They could actually fit an R2 button on the top of that battery though. It might be good for SOCOM.

Well, good idea, but bad layout. WAAAAAAAAAY too big. It'll never fit in your pocket and will be horribly uncomfortable by the look of it. If we wanted sumthing THAT big, we would be playing a DS! lol

Well, i woudln't buy one, but it deosnt stop others from buying it.

I'd have to agree with the first post, it just loses the PSP's sleek look. Although this is a great way to play longer without having to charge, I would just simply bring a second battery with me.And plus, it may be uncomfortable in gameplay =/...

Nope, even with longer battery life, I wouldn't lug around a PSP with a ****ing brick on the back of it.

This isn't for long car rides.. Long car rides take use of the AC Car adapter that EVERYONE should own.

That's actually not a bad idea for the lazy people out there (like me) who don't want to ghetto-rig their own case for an adapter.

guys, this would work: http://www.bixnet.com/usbbatterybox.html

you can get 5000mAh 1.5V batteries now...

If I made a pack out of 3x1.5V I wander if 4.5V would be enough for the PSP?

Or check out this baby: http://www.batterywholesale.com/battery-store/proddetail.html?prodID=129

10000mAh!!!

Plenty of geeks could fab up a box and 5V regulator circuit, I would do this for a long plane flight...
