i have tinkered with that damned location free, and i find it painful, but promising. it's not 'easy' to make work, like when having to register things to the base station. but it really could be a cool idea... then again, pimpstreamer is free and awesome-o

oh, if the guy who makes pimpstreamer is reading this, is it at all possible to go for live tv streaming? i have a media centre pc, and it can happily encode, but i don't know about how hard it would be to make some sort of mpeg2 page file type thing... i don't really know ,but it would be super cool.

pimpstreamer does not compare. There is a difference between watching static videos on a PC hard drive and live television.

im pretty sure this survey was not just gap members. it only says playstation underground it never says gap. so i dont see a problem with sharing a survey available to anyone who joins the site

They are doing this survey because NO ONE (Well, Pretty much no one) has the Locationfree Player. Who the HELL is gonna pay $200 for it? You could buy another PSP for that price! Drop the price down to $100-$150 and MAYBE we can talk.......

Geesh everyone knows that, have you been living under a rock?

The PS3 in conjunction with the PSP will also make your bed and tuck you in at night. For 500 dollars it's a steal. Talk about value! I spent 2k on a Vegas trip last weekend (seriously)! I could have bought 4 PS3s.

Truthfully though I welcome new functionality. You never know what the next big feature will be that you can't live without. Watching live TV on a PSP when I'm on the airport or in some mofo's house who doesn't have cable might just be priceless.

its great if you're on the go and visit family members and it gets a little boring whe the adults are watching crap..if they have wifi, just connect up and watch wots on your tv at home..you van change channel of the cable box and control the dvd player
