LKV8000: Get full-screen HDMI for PSP-HDTV connectivity

When you connect your PSP to your TV, you only get a small picture at the middle of the TV screen while playing. Of course, the little picture is not gonna fly for the serious gamer. With the Lenkeng LKV8000 PSP to HDMI Converter, you can enjoy a full screen HDMI display on your HDTV, so you can upsize your PSP gaming look.

Naturally, the LKV8000 is only good if you're playing at home. If you've got a PSP-exclusive that deserves a lot of attention on a bigger screen though, this one's your solution. The LKV8000 boosts your PSP's output resolution to HDMI 720p on an HDTV.

Do remember that the LKV8000 is not compatible with the PSP-1000. A US distributor has yet to pick this one up, so pricing and availability is still blank right now. For product specs and other features, you can head to the source and check it out.

But

Wouldn't stretching the image make it look WORSE than it already does while plugged into a tv?
by martin447 - 2009-10-16 10:22:40
My thought exactly

I guess this is just for people who go mental if there are black lines around the picture. ...Slightly useless compared to the price it will cost (it's obvious this won't be cheap)
by killer531 - 2009-10-16 10:44:00
blah blah...

this is just a rumor... see it on - http://technicaluniverse.blogspot.com/ thanxx
by Portable - 2009-10-16 10:52:17
wtf

What's the point of PORTABLE then? I just don't get why people want to play on their TV's. That's why you have the PS3 and 360 in the first place.

Rumor? What are you smoking?

http://www.ishopvideogame.com/hdmi-converter-for-psp-3000psp-2000-p-1726.html $78.95 Thanks for providing that link though, it shows that Glenn M. is a plagiarizing fool. Way to not change a single word Glenn!

@ TheRockness

they leeched mine, like hell i'm gonna lift someone else's work
by Rolen47 - 2009-10-16 12:09:50
This is silly

This is no different than the zoom function that 90% of HDTVs have. This might be useful to people that have HD monitors that do not have a zoom option though, but it's not worth the price.
by symbal - 2009-10-16 12:36:11
What if

You go on holiday, you can use a Psp go with dualshock controller on hotel tv, i can't see too many people wanting to carry around a Ps3 or 360 there.
by billylee8 - 2009-10-16 13:35:25
Great

I already got a Gefen Home Theater Scaler and I get the same results, but this looks much more affordable. My Bravia could only zoom in so far...
by eaferrari24 - 2009-10-16 14:38:28

Time stamps time stamps time stamps.

Good things for the time stamp showing they posted/"Leeched" it 2 hours before your post... Too bad Glenn.

Time zones Time zones Time zones

by MMPSP - 2009-10-16 21:27:25
price

maybe if it was cheaper i would try this out, but ya due to the fact that its so small i do not play my psp on my plasma wall tv
by TheRockness - 2009-10-16 22:06:21
...

Care to provide some proof that they're in different time zones there limey?

Oh right I had no idea LOCOROCO, TEKKEN DARK RESSURECTION, GTPSP, STAR OCEAN FIRST DEPARTURE, CRISIS CORE (I could go on...) ARE ON THE PS3. No this is a good product. I wouldn't buy it though, my Bravia has a nice zoom function that fills most the screen already. Looks superb too.
by yourmistakes - 2009-10-17 01:50:37

by DolgenTaph - 2009-10-17 05:13:52
@TheRockness

Oh gosh, you are one huge idiot. Doesn't the fact that the pictures on the article point straight to QJ.net KIND OF prove that they stole Glenn's article? No need to start defending your point anymore, you've already lost this cause and ridiculed yourself. So stfu. Besides, this would be the first time in the four years that I've been following QJ.net that they would steal someone else's article from word-to-word.
by JETFIRE007 - 2009-10-17 14:32:55
Useless

@yourmistakes its called Remotejoy lite (or full) @vizard00 Remotejoy does it already, only thing is you need a pc connected to your Tv
by eaferrari24 - 2009-10-17 17:09:14
...

TheRockness could still be right. MAYBE the author of that site saw the article on QJ and figured he didn't want to waste his bandwidth with pictures so he switched out the images with the ones hosted on QJ :P (JOKE)
by NarooN - 2009-10-17 20:25:50
.

For the record, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection *is* on the PS3.
