Invisible PSP Camera mod

Ó

In a rather intricate mod, Russian developer timurmurmur (also known as 666661) managed to fit a camera to the back of his PSP. The camera not only fits inside the PSP without any protrusions, but is small and inconspicuous enough not to be noticed by those who aren't looking - hence "Invisible PSP Camera mod."

According to timurmurmur's email, the camera he used is a Go!Cam. And all he said was a simple "You want to play UMDs and use internal Go!Cam at the same time?"

The video doesn't show exactly how the device is intertwined with the UMD although the description suggests that unlike the Chotto Shotto mod on the PSP Phat, one can still use the drive even after the camera is installed, but we'll have to wait for more info to confirm that.

At any rate, the rather covert camera is still a neat trick:

I haven't bothered buying a Chotto shot because I know I can't use it most of the time since it sticks up in such an odd way but with this modification, well there certainly is potential there to make it worth the purchase.

Now I really want to know how it is done since that would be pretty cool and I could give my GF my real digital camera. Not to mention that since most people wouldn't know it was there I could take photos in some areas where I wouldn't get away with it otherwise.

Anyhow, whoever's doing that weird QJ prank... It's getting old. It was funny the first 3 days, but now it's just annoying...

I've seen other ones that stick out like crazy and impale functions of the PSP, but this is the first one that has no downside and is 100% internal, if he tells how to do that, that's going to be high on my list of stuff I have to do sometime.
